SEMINAL: software engineering using metaheuristic INnovative ALgorithms

Abstract

Metaheuristic search algorithms have been widely applied to almost all engineering disciplines with the exception of software engineering.
It is surprising that these essentially software driven technologies have not yet fully penetrated the software engineering research community and are not widely applied when compared to the more traditional engineering disciplines.
This workshop aims to build the embryonic research community interested in the application of metaheuristic algorithms to software engineering problems.
