Abstract

The First International Workshop From Software Requirements to Architectures (STRAW01) was held in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on May 14, 2001, just before the 23^rd International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE). This brief paper outlines the motivation, goals and organisation of the workshop.
