Abstract

The First International Workshop From Software Requirements to Architectures (STRAW01) was held in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on May 14, 2001, just before the 23rd International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE). This brief paper outlines the motivation, goals and organisation of the workshop.
