  • Abstract

In recent years, 3D polygonal modelling and digital sculpture have provided powerful technological support in archaeological, architectural, and historical visualisation, and various technological tools have been integrated into the conservation of tangible cultural heritage, a growing trend towards the conservation and dissemination of the world's tangible cultural heritage through multimedia information technology. As a product of the combination of art and technology, the dancing pottery figurines are representative sculptures of tangible heritage culture. In this paper, the application of 3D digital technology in the dance figurines of tangible cultural heritage is investigated through the use of 3D digital modelling technology, taking the Tang painted double-ringed dancing figurine of a woman in a bun with a wangxian bun as an example, and through the display of its 3D digital image through VR technology, in order to combine tangible cultural heritage with science and technology for the purpose of preserving the knowledge and value of cultural heritage.
