Glen arrived in Germany in the 1970s and began his music career as a drummer. He met Cheyenne in 1979 and got married in 1989. In 1993, they formed a musical act and released their first single, called I Wish You Were Here. It peaked at number 31 in the German charts and remained in the Top 100 for 16 weeks. The following year, they released their debut studio album, Miracles. In 1994 they divorced.
In 1995 the regional broadcaster Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk chose Stone and Stone to represent Germany at the 1995 Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Verliebt in Dich". However, their song failed to impress the national juries, receiving only 1 point from the Maltese jury, finishing in 23rd and last place. This marked the fourth time that Germany had finished last in the contest. Germany would also go on to finish last at the 2005, 2015, 2016, 2022 and 2023 contests. [1]
