If you feel so strongly about it then add a requested move, not a technical move. See WP:RM#CM. Don't move it unilaterally again, or you'll be violating the three revert rule --Tærkast (Discuss) 18:37, 2 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This has already been discussed on the WP:PW talk page, and there were no problems there. Seems you're making a issue out of a non-issue in regards to this page move. APM (talk) 18:49, 2 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hart Trophy and other Trophies Template

[edit]

Just a heads up that WP:HOCKEY has long been against using templates like this on player pages. It just leads to clutter and doesn't really add to the page. If you want to discuss its use, feel free to go to WT:HOCKEY, but for the most part everyone is not for it, and it's going to be reverted on pages. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Niles Young requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Speedy deletion nomination of Niles Young

[edit]

Hello, AmorPatiturMoras,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username John B123 and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, Niles Young, for deletion, because a consensus decision previously decided that it wasn't suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. If you wish to restore a page deleted via a deletion discussion, please use the deletion review process instead, rather than reposting the content of the page.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.

For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|John B123}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Biographies of living persons

[edit]

Information icon Please do not add content which gives undue weight to some statement about a living person, as you did at Daniel Garcia (American wrestler). On Wikipedia we take particular care over articles about living people.

New information, even if referenced, should be added only if noteworthy, relevant and documented in multiple reliable third-party sources. Wikipedia is not a newspaper and material should not be added if it is only gossip or has little longer-term importance, or if the only sourcing is tabloid journalism.

If challenged, the onus is on the editor who adds the content to justify its retention. Thank you. KyleJoantalk 17:25, 1 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about Harry Dunn (defender)

[edit]

Hello AmorPatiturMoras, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Harry Dunn (defender), should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Harry Dunn (defender).

Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Anwegmann}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!
