Bombinhas is in the Itajaí Valley region of Santa Catarina. Its clear and unpolluted waters attracts tourists from all over the world to its beaches suitable for all kinds of water sports and preserved vegetation.
Understand
[edit]Bombinhas is a peninsula, almost an island, which juts 12 kilometers into the sea, including 22 beaches and four islands.
Bombinhas is part of the surroundings of the Marine Biological Reserve of Arvoredo, which has an area of 17,800 hectares formed by the islands of Arvoredo, Galés and Deserta.
The first beach entering the municipality is Bombas, good for surfing, diving, fishing and walks on the trails of Parque da Galheta. Bombinhas beach, with its calm waters and white sand, is an invitation for pleasant hours with the family and for swimming and diving. Retiro dos Padres is an almost private beach where tranquility reigns, with waves that are almost always calm and a history of rescue of English shipwrecked by the local population that gave rise to the name Praia dos Ingleses. Praia de 4 Ilhas (known among the natives as Praia de Fora) is nationally known for its strong waves, ideal for surfing. Praia de Mariscal is an extensive beach with great waves for surfing and certainly one of the best preserved in the state. Canto Grande beach has a narrow strip of land that separates a beach with calm waters and an unforgettable sunset from one with special waves for surfing. The bay of Zimbros is contagious for the peace and tranquility only broken by the noise of the engines of the fishing boats. Tainha beach is the most isolated with a privileged natural beauty.
