I. OBJECTIVES
1. Request medium-term financing with the Financial Entity's own resources, which
allows the efficient exploitation of an established forage area and work on it to improve
an agricultural and livestock activity, which allows obtaining satisfactory returns.
2. Increase the sustaining capacity of the farm with the improvement of existing facilities,
in order to take full advantage of the forage capital that the Production Unit has.
4. Be an active part of the collective development that is generated in the area, based on
the effective integration of producers through their organizations.
5. Consolidate an agricultural operation that generates jobs in rural areas and therefore
favors some families; but at the same time it serves as an incentive for productive
activity on some farms with similar conditions.

Leaving from the City of Elorza Apure State, we take the Caribe
river Highway and before the Bridge where the Escamoto Battalion is located, we take
the agricultural median on the left where we travel approximately 1 hour and 40
minutes until we reach the Production Unit under study. this after passing the Yeguita
Farm , El Paraiso and Santa farm.

The topography of the farm is flat with little slopes, 90% mechanized,
workable with a tractor, and 90% mechanized.
2.3.2. Floors:
They are soils with a clay-loam texture, with a medium degree of
stoniness, with good fertility for annual crops and pastures. It has floodable areas in
the natural estuaries in the lower parts of the property.
2.3.3. Vegetation: It has 92.00 hectares of Virgin Mountain and a reserve area
for the farm's tributaries, which serve as a lung for the farm.
3. Constructive diagnosis:
3.1 Tranquero Farm has two foundations, each with housing and wooden
corrals, in addition to this it has approximately 17 kilometers of conventional fences
made of wooden fences and 5 hairs of barbed wire motto 500.
PRODUCTION DATA: Milking is carried out daily on the farm, obtaining approximately 100
liters daily, which are curdled and the Cheese is sold in the Town of Elorza, obtaining 20
Kilos of Cheese sold daily at 3 usd/Kg.
BOVINES: Bufalino cattle of the Murra and Mediterranean breed, with modest
performances in terms of Weight/Animal/Day gain, wanting to improve the genetics of the
herd and need to be replaced with the improvement of the Herd that allows taking full
advantage of all the potential that the property offers.
MANAGEMENT:
- The existing herd is managed in pastures, supplementing its diet with molasses and
mineral salts under a Buffalo/Bucerro/Bumaute development system.
- Reproduction is by natural mating.
- According to what is stated by the owner, the herd of this agricultural property complies
with the legal requirements demanded by the national INSAI every six months, where the
national vaccination against foot and mouth disease, rabies, asymptomatic smut is
applied, in addition to ruling out possible outbreaks of brucellosis within the herd.
USE OF TECHNOLOGY:
- Use of herbicides to clean pastures.
- Maintenance of paddocks with farm workers. and piece-rate personnel.
- The Farm does not have Electrification 110, 220.
- The farm does not have an Agricultural tractor, so they are fundamental pieces in this
financing.
- Agricultural implements such as Shovels, Pickaxes, Back Fumigators, minor tools,
Grass Chopper, Motor Pumps and others.
ADMINISTRATION:
Directly from the owner who regularly attends the farm, in addition at the time of the
visit 4 workers work as permanent employees of the farm, who carry out cleaning of
pastures, assistance to the livestock and general maintenance of the agricultural property.

Who Requests José Alsiviades Pérez Guerrero, agricultural producer duly identified with the I.D.
Number. V – 11.502.085, with proven experience for more than 45 years, has the help of the Family
Nucleus and Professional Friends, which is why it presents to you the project “Sustainable
Endogenous Program in Livestock Bufalina” With the aim of strengthening, developing and
consolidate the existing productive areas on the property, as well as the deployment of new
livestock and dairy production modules respectively.
The reasons that motivated the need to formulate and carry out the investment initiative respond to
the interest of consolidating an agricultural production unit with high levels of technology for the
improvement and increase of the production cycles that the U.P. currently has Tranquero Farm.
The efforts made so far have managed to keep the property under study productive, but with static
cash flows only for maintenance in accordance with the commitments made to external parts.
It is estimated that with the new financing and execution of the project in all its phases, the installed
and consolidated productive capacity will be maximized throughout these 5 years. Likewise, the
requested financing provides for the modernization of many of the production processes carried out
on the farm as well as the genetic improvement of the herd, seeking to consolidate itself as a pilot
farm in the area of action.
Given this, it is desired to establish this Investment Plan to be executed on the property.

A financial requirement is estimated to be in the order of 1,070,000.00 American Dollars,
which will be used to promote and strengthen the productive peasant sector of Venezuela,
by virtue of currently having the guarantees that guarantee the requested amount, as well
as the respective repayment sources.

Products
The products currently sold by the Producer Obtained in the Production Unit, are
made up of Milking Buffalo Cattle and rearing of Bumautes from weaning, which generate
outflows of male animals that are destined for sale after weaning and animals for discard.
Which are sold to slaughterhouses and/or feedlots according to the commercial prices of
the moment.
Business market
The food sector, in general terms, is considered to have the highest inventory
turnover, since daily consumption by the various levels of the population energizes the
food chain. These products are subject to variables such as family income, which can
affect the speed of rotation of said inventories.
Within consumption itself, we must highlight that in Venezuela, both the dairy circuit
(milk) and meat crops function without major inconveniences, because there is a growing
demand that national production cannot cover.
Currently, several of the products that are generated in the Agricultural Unit here
under study are under regulation imposed by the Ministry of Popular Power for Food
MPPAL, and more recently with the promulgation of the Fair Prices Law that structures a
market dynamic under policies of adjustments controlled by the State and not by the free
exercise of competitors.
Given this, we can observe in each of the product lines of the food basket, the
behavior of mass consumption, revealing the high mobility and ever-increasing demand for
meat, milk and their derivatives; becoming fundamental for a balanced diet. The behavior
of the prices of the items in question is also appreciated, with the capacity to generate a
projection in accordance with the profitability levels.

One of the main entities in the state purchase of food is The State Under the
different Food Programs already established, within the framework of the decentralization
of the regional purchasing management of this state network, governed by the Ministry of
Popular Power for Food, which could open opportunities in each of the regions for the
marketing of basic food products.
In Venezuela there is a culture of consuming milk, meat and dairy products
(cheese) as a complement to meals. In this sense, there is a marked trend that favors
producers in the Venezuelan countryside in general. However, other items such as poultry,
fish and vegetables have been gaining increasingly important market shares.
On the other hand, Venezuelans have within their consumption habits at social
gatherings to offer their guests roasts, a wide variety of dairy products and charcuterie
(cured meats), both national and imported, this indicates that the production offered here is
highly guaranteed.
Service aspects
The services that exist in the area and its adjacencies where the production units
are located, such as: transportation of products and inputs, technical assistance,
slaughterhouses, recipients, companies providing services of various kinds, suppliers and
machinery repair workshops and equipment, commercial houses that distribute agricultural
goods and inputs, among others necessary for supply and marketing, can be found regularly in
the town of Elorza, Apure State.
Chapter III
GUARANTEES OFFERED
Project Commitment
The agricultural producer has been generating different alternatives for both plant and
animal production cycles for about 45 years, but approximately 20 years ago a plan was
conceived to develop the production unit through the exploitation of Dual Purpose Bufalino
cattle but with its own resources. which limits it to grow and promote the desired livestock
development.
The Production Unit is fully operational and its operating expenses are covered., but the
productive efficiency indices do not correspond to the investment in agricultural infrastructure
and machinery and equipment it has, due to lack of sufficient financial resources to make a
profitable productive and business unit through best practices. This being the objective image
pursued with the new financing.
Objectives to be pursued
Incorporate this production unit actively and directly into the regional and national
development process according to the lines of the Simón Bolívar National Plan and
the fundamental approach and provisions for the productive decentralization of the
agricultural sector contained in the National Livestock Development Plan 2011 -2030,
currently approved by the competent bodies.
Rationally use the resources granted by the financial entity for the necessary
improvements that allow productive activities to be consolidated profitably in the
Production Unit here under study.
Achieve an increase in the productive efficiency cycle in the management of the
buffalo herd.
Achieve an increase in milk and crop production through the use of technology,
improvement of cultivated grass areas and animal reproduction.
Increase the number of jobs and use the existing workforce more efficiently both in
the activities of the Production Unit with the new technologies to be developed.
Establish a system of electric fences throughout the farm for better distribution,
management of the herd and use of forage.
Promote the conditioning of the existing facilities where the current herd will be
managed, arranging the existing infrastructure for the herd of high genetic value that
will enter through financing.
CONCLUSIONS
The program presented here comes from a series of compilations and studies
based on the need to search for food that allows minimizing the impact caused by large
States, which is why together with a group of selected professionals I present the following
financing proposal in favor of the Field Venezuelan and the Double Purpose Bufalina
Livestock, (Alternative forever).
1.Tranquero farm is located in the Capanaparo River basin, making it an excellent area for
the development of dual-purpose Bufalina livestock, allowing the forage supply to be
maintained throughout the year. There we will carry out the Livestock production of dairy
bellies and good weight calves at weaning.
2.The current production on the farm is considered regular but could be improved, which is
why the client wants to introduce Pregnant Buffaloes with better genetics in terms of milk
to his herd, taking advantage of the forage supply he has and thus be able to increase his
daily averages of milk, all with the firm purpose of consolidating the farms as cattle raising
Bufalina Doble Purpose.
3.The farm is currently attended directly by the Financing Applicant and collaborating
partners, who regularly attend the farms and their contribution to the farms goes towards
achieving the greatest benefit that they offer every day.
4.At the time of the visit, permanent workers work on the farms who carry out cleaning and
maintenance tasks on the farm in addition to ensuring the development of cattle
established in the production unit.
5. Consider that this financing request is adjusted to the needs required by the farm,
which has conditions to improve productivity and therefore I consider the investment
advisable, under the regulations established by the financial institution.
6. Regarding Dual Purpose Buffalo Cattle, it is important to know that in our tropics,
crosses are made with buffalo animals to obtain adaptability and resistance, along with
good production of meat and milk.
7.The double buffalo dual purpose system today is becoming a very viable alternative to
produce meat and milk without the need for a large infrastructure to achieve this goal.
There are many advantages compared to specialized dairy systems or the full-milk rearing
system. Ultimately, it generates greater income from the sale of milk and at the end of
lactation and the subsequent sale of the calf at weaning.
