The Mekons é unha banda inglesa formada a finais da década de 1970 como un colectivo artístico. Son unha das bandas de punk rock británicas máis lonxevas e prolíficas.^[1]^[2]

O estilo da banda evolucionou co paso do tempo para incorporar aspectos da música country, música folk, rock alternativo e ocasionalmente experimentos co dub.^[3] Son coñecidos polos seus estrepitosos concertos.^[4]
