Deniz Erdoğan

Ms. Erdoğan is a PhD Candidate at Hacettepe University, Department of Sociology. She has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations and also has two master’s degrees both in Sociology-Gender Studies and Journalism. Deniz has more than 8 years of experience as a project manager, senior project consultant, senior proposal developer, and a service provider in various programs such as EU in technical assistance projects, Erasmus+, Horizon Europe and H2020, World Bank, EIB, and other donors financed by international agencies. She is working as a Business Development Specialist at Stantec and she was also a former project assistant at United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). Beyond her academic career as a licensed researcher with more than 10 years of experience, she has high proficiency and proven publications on Contemporary Sociology, Gender Studies, Media and Communication,  Law on Migration and Refugees, and Human Rights.  She has excellent research skills in collecting data and reviewing literature and is a successful consultant, an author, and an accredited trainer (certificated training of trainers by the European Education Training and Accreditation Center- EETAC) She has excellent communication skills both in English and in Turkish.
