Patients suffering from chropic renal failure (CPR) undergo different changes after renal transplantation. These changes, combined with the effects of hepatitis C virus (HCY) infection are subjects still under investigation. In order to further clarify the changes in liver enzyme levels after renal transplantation (TX) and the correlation between these changes and liver biopsy scores before TX, we performed a longitudinal observational study in which 40 patients with CRP and HCY infection were followed before TX and one year Arter. Advantages of language teaching and learning in foreign contexts are undisputable. This study intended to check if
Reasoning Ability (RA), as a promoted cognitive skill which is emphasized not only in the field of education, but
also as an important element of most professions, is cognitively enhanced along with English language learning. To
this end, a sample of Iranian primary school children, aged 5-8 years, were selected through purposive sampling and
divided into thtree groups; that is, monolingual, bilingual, and limited bilingual children, in order to investigate their
RA enhancement during early formal education. Also, a researcher-made psychometric test was used to measure
quantitative, visual, nonverbal, matrix, and abstract reasoning of the sample during early primary school education.
The results of the analyzed data indicated that the bilingual group outperformed the monolingual and the limited
bilingual children in matrix, visual, abstract reasoning and logical thinking. The findings of the study can be used by
educational policymakers to reconsider the primary school curriculum, and through holding workshops on
strengthening national and religious values help English language instructors to unravel related problems.

Dubbing, as a form of Audio visual translation, has gained a global reputation. Just like any type of translation that is constrained by specific limitations, dubbing is also confined by restrictions such as synchronization which sheds light on the length of the utterance, the lip movements and the gestures used by the actors. Besides synchronization, culture- specific terms and expressions, sentence structure of the target language which has to be taken care of and the target audience regarding their comprehension of the translated message based on their level of literacy or age are all significant aspects of audio visual translation. This study intended to evaluate the awareness of audience about such problems. In this regard two groups of bilinguals participated in this study. Thirty senior translation students from Shiraz Azad University constituted group A and thirty Advanced English language learners participated in group B. Introduction: In the present global village where English is the lingua franca, learning English has become a must to meet the communicative needs. English language not only serves as a medium for communication, but also as one to present knowledge and scientific information. The demand is even more highlighted in specific fields such as medical profession and education where English is the dominant language. Recent studies suggest that most of the EFL medical students’ academic non achievements which eventually lead to their career challenges, originate from lack of English language proficiency. Due to such language barriers students’ abilities might be even doubted which leads to their dis appointment. In this regard, this study aimed to summarize and recommend the influencing factors which could promote the quality of learning and teaching English for medical purposes. The participants were proficient in both Persian and English and could judge the translations based on the differences between the two cultures and languages. After having watched a 20-minute clip of the recently translated material, they filled out a questionnaire containing eight items about the problems they noticed when they compared the original and translated materials. The data was analyzed using SPSS program version 20 which indicated high awareness of the audience. This is concluded that more training courses and programs are warranted for audio visual translators, especially once the audience is aware of the problems.

Due to violations in different aspects of research, every medical research center necessitates a medical ethics committee nowadays. Yet, carrying out research sometimes results in unsound competition and research misconduct in order to achieve the privileges earlier. This study aimed at determining researchers' attitude about ethics in research at Hormozgan University of Medical Sciences (HUMS) in 2011. In this regard, a questionnaire was designed and handed out to faculty members and researcher students. Finally, the data was analyzed using SPSS program and chi square test. Participants' attitude about some items such as poster presentation and lecturing was reported. Using raw data and omitting deviated data showed a significant relationship (P<0.05). There was no significant relationship regarding other items (P>0.05). The findings of this study detected that the participants' attitude about ethics in research was relatively good.

Considering all that, by effective planning and psychological interventions, negative effects of test anxiety on educational performance could be eliminated. Introduction: Study of bilingualism will enhance the understanding of the cognitive and neural mechanisms responsible for learning. Cognitive correlates of bilingualism such as enhancement of attention control, problem solving and working memory would be worth studying especially among young children to improve their future performances. Among the wide range of advantages of bilingualism, working memory enhancement was the focus of this study. The positive impact of working memory on mathematical skills has been highlighted in previous surveys. Hence, the present study intended to investigate the potential relation between second language acquisition (becoming bilingual) and mathematics achievement.
