Furthermore, women's enrollment in educational institutions has accelerated female engagement in the labor market in the country. In Bangladesh's informal and official sectors, women make up 91.8 percent of the workforce. Day laborers, cleaners, and other service employees, as well as domestic servants (the vast majority of whom are women), have lost their jobs.
