The structures of synthesized compounds were elucidated by spectral studies (infrared, nuclear magnetic resonance [ 1 H NMR], 13 C NMR, and mass spectrometry). The compounds were evaluated for their antibacterial activity against few Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Among the screened compounds, compound 7 showed the most potent inhibitory activity.
