A puppet is a figure that is being controlled by a ruler or a puppet master. A puppet's function is controlled, indecisive, inaudible, and insentient. The fact is that it cannot initiate an action, it requires someone who is informed and conscious to move it in any direction or simply bring it to life; yet, how can someone, who has the mental capacity to make his own decisions and command himself, still be relevant and suitable to be a puppet? The book, "Philippine Society and Revolution", written under the pen name Amado Guerrero by Jose Maria Sison, also known as Joma, was published in 1970 and it focused on the revolutionary actions carried out by Filipinos to achieve freedom that our country deserved.
