È un momento che non può passare sottotono, e non solamente per la memoria storica di un Concilio che ha segnato una grande svolta anche riguardo alla Vita Consacrata, ma specialmente per fare un bilancio di questi anni, non sempre facili, spesso carichi di tensioni, di defezioni post-conciliari causate da errate interpretazioni del recente Magistero o dal desiderio smodato di porre in atto quei cambiamenti auspicati, ma senza la prudenza del discernimento, dell’attesa “sapienziale” che dovrebbe il patrimonio “genetico” di chi ha donato la sua vita a Cristo. La presenza dei religiosi al Concilio è stata indubbiamente forte e signifcativa anche se non si può parlare di “un Concilio di religiosi”. E le religiose? Come mai il Concilio tratta della vita religiosa senza uno specifco contributo femminile? La struttura prettamente “maschile” della Chiesa, ovvero dell’elemento gerarchico, ha decisamente segnato il cammino per una interpretazione e uno svolgimento dei lavori conciliari sotto una prospettiva univoca ove è mancata l’apportazione piena del mondo femminile. Da qui la necessità – legittima – di indagare sul ruolo delle religiose uditrici. La vita religiosa, infatti, è anche femminile e per questo va considerata nelle due diverse prospettive umane e psicologiche.
