Military publishing house, Volume 1. The origin of war.  The first volume of the "History of the Second World War" covers the period from the end of the First World War to the autumn of 1935. Its first part is devoted to the origin of war in the system of world imperialism, showing fascism as a strike force of imperialism and militarism, and the history of the emergence of the first centers of a new world war. The second part of the volume reveals the world-historical significance of the construction of socialism in the USSR, the development of its Armed Forces, the intense struggle of the peace-loving peoples, led by the Soviet Union, against the danger of a new world war.

This collection is an integral part of an all-Union series of documents and materials on the history of industrialization of the USSR (1926-1941). It contains documents describing the industrial development of the country during the third five-year plan (before the start of the Great Patriotic War) and thus completes the all-union volumes of the series.

By the end of the second five-year plan, the Soviet Union had successfully completed, in the main, the building of a socialist society. The victory of socialism opened up tremendous opportunities for the development and improvement of the productive forces of Soviet society, its political and spiritual life.

“Only blockheads or masked enemies who with their boastfulness want to conceal their hostility and are striving to demobilize the people, can deny the danger of military intervention and attempts at restoration as long as the capitalist encirclement exists.”

“the bureaucracy, are either similarly replaced by the direct rule of the people themselves or at least placed under special control; they not only become elected officials, but are also subject to recall at the people’s first demand; they are reduced to the position of simple agents; from a privileged group holding “jobs” remunerated on a high, bourgeois scale, they become workers of a special “arm of the service”, whose remuneration does not exceed the ordinary pay of a competent worker.”

Translated from the original 1927, -A unique book, recommended at one time by I.V. Stalin, which shows the dialectic of the NEP, how in practice the socialist way of economy destroyed the economically private-proprietary, capitalist way. In the post-Stalin USSR, it was kept in special depository, there was no free access to it. All the schemes that were then widely used by the new bourgeoisie during the period of Perestroika are described.

Articles related to the First World War is based on the Russian originals written in the book “Imperialist wars and Bolsheviks” Yakelova dated 1924, and “Anniversary of World War”, by Ohitovich  dated 1925.

It is a compilation of articles we researched, translated, read, and found important for others to read. Mostly from Lenin, Stalin, Congress documents etc.

Articles are selected from three books. Referenced books prepared by a team of researchers from the Department of the History of Foreign Press and Literature, Faculty of Journalism, Moscow State University. Articles have been organized, categorized, edited, and combined into one book.

“The problem of imperialism is not only a most essential one, but, we may say it is the most essential problem in that realm of economic science which examines the changing forms of capitalism in recent times. Everyone interested not only in economics but in any sphere of present-day social life must acquaint himself with the facts relating to this problem, as presented by the author in such detail on the basis of the latest available data. Needless to say that there can be no concrete historical analysis of war, if that analysis does not have for its basis a full understanding of the nature of imperialism, both from its economic and political aspects. Without this, it is impossible to approach an understanding of the economic and diplomatic situation of the last decades, and without such an understanding, it is ridiculous even to speak of forming a correct view on the war.”

Political economy is one of the social sciences. It studies the laws of social production and distribution of material goods at various stages of the development of human society.  The basis of society is material production. In order to live, people must have food, clothing, and other material goods. In order to have these goods, people must produce them; they must work.

“Our position on the Palestinian issue is determined by our foreign policy, one of the most important principles of which is the right of nations to self‐determination.”

when the defeat of Nazi Germany became obvious, the USSR began to revise its policy in the Middle East in general and in relation to Palestine in particular. At the Moscow conference, held on October 9, 1944, Soviet representatives, in conversations with British and American diplomats, for the first time raised the question of Palestine.

V. Molotov's proposal  to E. Eden, was that the British troops were completely withdrawn from Egypt and Palestine, and in return the Soviet Union would withdraw its troops from Northern Iran.

Immediately after the end of the Moscow conference, Stalin instructed the People's Commissariat for Foreign Affairs (NKID) to develop proposals on a possible policy of the USSR in the Middle East. For a detailed study of the issue, three commissions were formed, headed by I. Maisky, M. Litvinov and S. Lozovsky. None of the conclusions of the commissions was approved by the NKID, so at this stage the position of the Soviet Union was reduced to two fundamentally important points: 1) the earliest possible withdrawal of the British mandate and 2) the establishment of the UN mandate.

"Unlike anarchists," says Lenin,” Marxists recognize the struggle for reforms, that is, they  recognize the struggle for measures that improve the conditions of the entire working class, without destroying the power of the ruling class. They carry out the most decisive struggle against reformists, which directly or indirectly restrict them. Reformism is the bourgeois deceit of workers who will always remain a paid slave, as long as capital is dominant. "

Compromises are often unavoidably forced upon a fighting party by  circumstances....The task of a truly revolutionary party is not to declare that it is impossible to renounce all compromises, but to be able, through all compromises, when
they are unavoidable, to remain true to its principles, to its class, to its revolutionary purpose....”

"Can a class-conscious worker forget the democratic struggle for the sake of the socialist struggle, or forget the latter for the sake of the former? No, a classconscious worker calls himself a Social-Democrat for the reason that he understands the relation between the two struggles. He knows that there is no other road to socialism save the road through democracy, through political liberty. "

"active boycott, as the experience .. has shown, is correct tactics .. only under conditions of a sweeping, universal, and rapid upswing of the revolution, developing into an armed uprising, and only in connection with the ideological aims of the struggle against constitutional illusions arising from the convocation of the first representative assembly by the old regime;..........the tactics of boycott could be appropriate only provided our efforts to convert the trade-union upswing into a revolutionary assault were
successful."

Marxism differs from all primitive forms of socialism by not binding the movement to any one particular form of struggle. It recognizes the most varied forms of struggle; and it does not “concoct” them, but only generalizes, organizes, gives conscious expression to those forms of struggle of the revolutionary classes which arise of themselves in the course of the movement.

"the stand towards imperialism has always been a line of demarcation which divides the genuine patriotic and democratic revolutionary forces, on the one hand, from the forces of reaction, counter-revolution and national betrayal, on the other hand."

A standing army and police are the chief instruments of state power..... The centralized state power that is peculiar to bourgeois society came into being in the period of the fall of absolutism. Two institutions are most characteristic of this state machine: the bureaucracy and the standing army.

Devam eden yıllarda Troçki, ve günümüzde Troçkistlerin, Bolşevizmin, Sovyetlerin ve Sosyalizmin tüm düşmanlarını birleştiren, onlara genelde ideolojik, kimi zaman material, malzeme sağlayarak güçlendiren, onlarla beraber Sosyalistlere ve Sosyalizme karşı savaşan karşı devrimci pratiklerine şahit olduk.

Türkiye’de Faşizmin geçmiş tarihine bakarsak, faşizmin temel nedeninin gelişen devrimci mücadeleyi bastırmayı hedeflediğini, bu “devrimci durumu” yaratan nedenleri çözmek ve Türkiye’de gelişen ve güçlenen tekelci kapitalizmin, sermaye bloğunun merkezileştirilmesi yönünde çalışmaları hızlandırmak olduğunu görürüz. Marksist Leninistler değerlendirmelerinde temel olarak Marksist Leninist teorileri ve kaynak olarak da Marksist Leninistleri alırlar. Şimdiye kadar yazılan “ulusal kurtuluş savaşı diye bir şey yok “ ve benzeri gibisinden, bilgiç ce ve ukalaca yazılmış sayısız burjuva yazılarında, bir tane bile Marksist Leninist alıntı bulunmaz, ya da bir iki alıntılar, konuyu sapıtma ve öncesi ve sonrası ile çorba yapma, kafa bulandırma amacını taşır. Son yıllarda Troçkizm biraz canlandı. Bazı kapitalist Avrupa ve Latin Amerika ülkelerinde ve Amerika Birleşik Devletleri'nde Troçkistler hareketlendirildi. Anti-Lenin komplonun amacı, Lenini Bolşevik liderliğinden izole etmek, ve devamında tasfiye etmek, partiyi zayıflatmak ve böylece, Lenin'in Nisan 1917'de Rusya'ya döndüğünde kendine hedeflediği amacına karşı olarak, sosyalist devrimle ilgili tüm girişimleri iptal etmekti.

Kendilerini tüm popüler halk hareketlerine bağlayan parazitik büyümelerin tipik bir örneği olan Troçkizm, bugün İspanya Cumhuriyeti'nin bütün düşmanlarının İspanya sığınağı haline geldi. Bundan çıkarılacak ders hayati öneme sahiptir.

Polis kayıtları, belgeleri, soruşturmanın resmi kayıtları kendi içinde delillerdir, ve POUM ile liderlerini  isyancılarla ilişkide bulunduğu ve bulunmakta olduğu resmi raporlar bana verildi. Savaş gerçekten Troçki'yi oportünistlerden ayırdı mı? “Aşağılık diplomasi” bu büyük olaylar karşısında durdu mu? Hiç te  değil. Yoldaş Troçki'nin , nasılki 1905'te Menhevikler ile işbirliği yaparak hızı-devrimci “sol” lafızları birleştirmeye çalıştığı gibi, aynı şekilde savaş sırasında kendi enternasyonalizmini oportünizmi destekleme ile birleştirmeyi başardı.

Burjuva, anti-komünist, faşist yazarların dedikodu, iftira ve yalanlarla dolu kitaplarının destekli ve yaygın bir şekilde her dile çevrilip dağıtılması, şüphesiz ki burjuvazi ile emekçi sınıfın zıt olan çıkarlarını ve mücadelesini ifade eden ideolojik mücadelenin kaçınılmaz bir sonucudur. Bu tür kitaplar ın burjuva medya , burjuva akademisyenler ve (herkesin kendini gazeteci ilan ettiği günümüz) yazarlar! tarafından her dilde reklamı yapılır. Anti-Komunist Stephen Kotkin in sözü geçen kitabı da bunların bir örneğini oluşturur.

Beyin üretimi araçlarına ve olanaklarına sahip olan burjuvaziyle, Marksist Leninistlerin  bu anlamda olanakları, şüphesiz ki karşılaştırılamayacak derecede Burjuvanın lehine çalışmaktadır. Burjuvazinin , faşistlerin ve anti-komünistlerin yalanlarını ve çarpıtmalarını kanıtlarla teşhir etmeyi kendine "görev" edinmiş olan Tarihçi Grover Furr ün en son kitabı, Stephen Kotkinin kitabındaki sahtekarlıkları, yalanları, tahrifleri kanıtlarıyla ortaya döken niteliğe sahip.

"Uzun bir süre, Sağ ve Troçkist örgüt Ortak Merkezi, Gorky yi etkilemek istedi. GORKY, STALIN'e sadık kaldı ve onun ateşli bir destekçisi ve çizgisinin savunucusuydu. STALIN liderliğinin ve iktidarın yıkılması, Sağlar  ve Troçkistlerin eline geçmesi ciddi bir şekilde hesaba katıldıkça , merkezin GORKY’nin ülke içindeki ve yurtdışındaki saygınlığının istisnai etkisini görmezden gelemedi. GORKY hayatta kaldığı sürece, bize karşı protesto sesini yükseltecekti. Buna izin veremezdik. GORKY’nin  STALIN’den kopartılamayacağına ikna olan Ortak Merkez, STALİN ile yakın bağlantılarını koparmak  amacında çaba göstermişlerdi. Bu amaç için. Kamenev, Tomski ve çok sayıda başkaları Gorkye çengel attı. Ama hiçbir gerçek sonuç elde edilemedi. GORKY'den kurtulmaya karar verdi. ”

Taxation and opposition in USSR-1928 is an inseparable part of the book "Private Capital in the USSR."  "Marx taught that the highest criterion for theory and (the yardstick for its evaluation) is practice. Lenin added that the idiot is the one who believes in the word. " In this sense, the book, and this addition is highly valuable to analyze Vietnam and China- not based on memorized theories but based on the actual, first source data.

Ukrayna'daki savaşın analizi, büyük ölçüde “emperyalist savaşta taraf tutulmaz”, “savaş, Politikanın farklı biçimlerde devamıdır” gibi hazır sonuçlarla yapılmış gibi görünüyor. Analysis of war in Ukraine seems to be largely done with ready-made conclusions such as “imperialist war we do not take sides”, “war is a continuation of Policy in different forms”. These are generally correct statements but not formulas. Especially the latter determines the attitude to the former. The question to be asked and the answer to that question should be studied is: “what kind of policy” each belligerent country was following domestically and internationally, militarily prior to the given war and historically. Without this thorough study the analysis will not be objective but subjective, and thus not a Marxist Leninist one.

Grover Furr’un yeni çıkan bu kitabi ağırlıkla Sovyet Arşivlerine erişim sağlayan Valentin A. Sakharov’un ele alınan konularla bağlantılı belgeleri araştırma, inceleme, ve çıkarımlarına dayanıyor. Ukrayna'daki savaşa yaklaşımın, Marksizm Leninizm ile Liberalizm arasında, idealist soyutlamacı ve diyalektik yaklaşım arasındaki sınır çizgisini yavaş ama emin bir şekilde çizdiğini belirtmek önemlidir.
"Siyasette bazen son derece karmaşık- ulusal ve uluslararası- ilişkilerin ele alınması gerekebilir, ama her durumda işe yarayacak bir tarife ya da genel bir kural uydurmak saçma olur. It is important to note that the approach to the war in Ukraine is slowly but surely drawing the demarcation line between Marxism Leninism and Liberalism, between the idealist abstractionist and dialectic approach. Marxist "teaching is not a dogma, but a guide to action, Marx and Engels always used to say, rightly ridiculing the learning and repetition by rote of 'formulas' which at best are only capable of outlining general tasks that are necessarily liable to be modified by the concrete economic and political conditions. It is essential to realize the incontestable truth that a Marxist must take cognizance of real life, of the concrete realities, and must not continue to cling to a theory of yesterday.

“Marxism requires of us a strictly exact and objectively verifiable analysis of the relation of classes and of the concrete features peculiar to each historical situation.” (3) “Relations of classes” is not limited to the relations between the competing monopoly-capitalist classes, but in their direct relation to the working classes.

The political aims of monopoly capitalist in their relations and conflicts will always have an effect in the life and struggle of the working class.

State capitalism is represented by enterprises owned by the state but leased to domestic (NEPmen) or foreign (concession) capitalists, cooperation of small commodity producers, as well as those through which the state has to enter into economic relations with the world capitalist market, for example, to exercise a monopoly foreign trade ]. All other enterprises that remained under the control of the Soviet state, Lenin considered socialist. That is, state capitalism under the dictatorship of the proletariat is a socio-economic structure.

Historically and in continuity, almost in every issue -either general or particular- “right” and “left” tendencies bring themselves out to open. The issue of NEP (National-New Economic Policy) seems to be still a current issue inherited form the time of Lenin and Stalin.  “The Right” tendency embraces it by disregarding the existing conditions and situations and as it is as a “permanent policy” without even thinking of gradual “transformation”, “the Left” rejects it completely calling it a “betrayal” to socialism. What is typical of both is inaction with illusions. Right considers that sufficient without any further change and prefers to do nothing, left considers that as “internal rebirth” of capitalism yet contents with scholastic criticism without any action. Both tendencies are “passivist” in essence. Both tendencies complement and strengthen each other. In all, they both are the two sides of the same coin.

(3) "Relations of classes" is not limited to the relations between the competing monopoly-capitalist classes, but in their direct relation to the working classes.
