El crítico y poeta Raúl Guadalupe de Jesús estudia Conversación en La Catedral, Historia de Mayta... more El crítico y poeta Raúl Guadalupe de Jesús estudia Conversación en La Catedral, Historia de Mayta, La casa verde y El hablador en su quinto libro, titulado: Espectros del indigenismo en la narrativa de Mario Var-gas Llosa. Plantea el acercamiento, la justificación así como el respaldo teórico con el cual se adentra a las cuatro novelas del escritor arequipeño Vargas Llosa seleccionadas: Desentrañar lo implícito en la crítica vargasllosiana requie-re una operación arqueológica en los sustratos de la ideo-logía del autor. Lo que nos tiene que llevar a la relación de su obra novelesca con su ensayística, entendiéndola, desde el punto de vista bajtiniano, como la obra única, esa arqui-tectura en permanente asociación. (232) Al entender las novelas y los ensayos como un todo se posibilita el estudio de este corpus en y desde la coexistencia de su propia relación dialógica. Este acercamiento supuso el estudio del pensamiento vasgas-llosiano en: La literatura es fuego, Cartas a un joven novelista, La uto-pía arcaica: José María Arguedas y las ficciones del indigenismo; La orgía perpetua: Flaubert y Madame Bovary y Entre Sartre y Camus. Si bien dicho estudio le facilitó palpar la huella biográfica de Vargas Llosa en el corpus novelesco seleccionado, así también posibilitó establecer las filiaciones filosóficas que marcaron las dos grandes etapas del pen-1 El texto a continuación fue mi intervención en la presentación del mencionado libro que tuvo lugar el 15 de septiembre de 2016 en la Universidad de Puerto Rico en Bayamón.
