The online phase of blended learning was conducted using video conference and Learning Management System (LMS). A comparative study has employed in this research. There were three groups of students with a total of 143 students represents from all of the eleventh graders in Purworejo Regency, Indonesia. These three groups of students applied different technology as the media on its learning process. A group which applying 'chemondro' game, a group with blended learning and the last group with the combination between the two. A Self-Regulated Learning Scale (SRLS) was administrated to obtain the data of students' self-regulated learning. These data of students' self-regulated learning were classified into five categories, from excellent to very poor category following the criteria of mean and ideal standard deviation. In addition, one-way ANOVA was used to confirm the results of those analysis. The results of the analysis showed that the profile of students' self-regulated learning on the group that used the 'chemondro' game only as the media was better compared to the other two student groups. This research suggests that the educational game should be widely use in chemistry learning to promote students' self-regulated learning.

The instrument was developed from indicators of communication skills, namely understanding the key ideas of other people's utterances and presenting or reading data in the form of tables or graphs. The development carried out with the Borg and Gall model produces valid and reliable instruments. The test subjects were 94 students who were selected by cluster sampling. The tests carried out included construct validation tests, empirical validation tests, and testing the use of instruments to measure science communication skills. The results of construct validation show that the instrument is considered very good and suitable for use. The results of empirical validation show that the instrument is valid and reliable so that it can be used. The trial results show that the instrument for the assessment of the results of this de...

It is recognized as a technological advance that can facilitate a learning process through the development of highly realistic 3D visualization. Using VR laboratory in teaching and learning makes it possible to manipulate objects in the virtual scene in a manner similar to the real world. Virtual reality laboratory was developed to enhance the students’ critical thinking skills. A Research and Development (R & D) method with a post-test design was used in the research. The subjects included the students who were enrolled at Senior High School in Yogyakarta, Indonesia with a total of 96 grade 10th students. The samples divided into three classes, namely EC-1 with virtual reality laboratory, EC-2 with virtual reality and real laboratory, and CC with real laboratory while the quality VR was applied to chemistry teachers. The findings of this research reveal that the quality of VR laboratory integrated hybrid learning was...

In developing the e-learning, researchers use Research and Development method and ADDIE instructional design. Result of this study is the design and implementation of moodle as online learning media for OJT students. Teachers can upload learning modules and provide a test to determine the extent of students' understanding of material provided by the module. Online moodle can be accessed by students anytime and anywhere, either from mobile phone or internet cafes. All facilities provided in online moodle can easily be used as a medium of distance learning.

Background The harmonisation of higher education is essentially a process that recognises the importance of education cooperation and the significance of establishing an 'area of knowledge' in which activities and interaction in higher education, mobility, and employment opportunities can be easily facilitated. It is the process that recognises the common space without omitting the diversity of higher education systems and cultures within the region. Therefore, SEAMEO Council conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on March 2008 noted the importance of the awareness of Raising Awareness among key policy makers and other stakeholders on the issue of regional integration/harmonisation in higher education. Although few universities in Indonesia have offered common space for some areas, but it has not yet been quite familiar. Therefore, based on the initiation and cooperation with SEAMEO RIHED, SEAMOLEC invite rectors and policy makers from 22 universities to discuss the condi...

Data were modeled by extended constant capacitance models. Aspartic acid slightly enhanced the adsorption of Pb(II), Zn(II), and Co(II) at low pH, but inhibited the adsorption of all the metal ions at higher pH. Adsorption of Cu(II) and Co(II) was inhibited strongly. Because aspartic acid is adsorbed only weakly by kaolinite, inhibition of metal ion adsorption depends on the ability of aspartic acid to form complexes with the various metal ions together with the adsorption characteristics of these complexes. In particular suppression of adsorption at high pH arises from competition between surface sites and dissolved aspartate ions for the available metal ions. Cu(II) and Co(II) form complexes with aspartic acid more strongly than the other metals. As these complexes do not adsorb, Cu(II) and Co(II) suffer greater suppression from aspartic acid than the other metals. There was no evidence of adsorption of aspartic acid complexes to the permanently charged kaolinite faces.
