Currently, there are two ways to perform early signs melanoma screening tests, and those are clinical skin examination and biopsy. Usage of mobile phone for those purposes is relatively new and it can be used directly by mobile phone users (“self-mole checking”) or indirectly by doctor in combination with hand held dermoscopy apparatus (“teledermoscopy”).
