That aim was realized through conducting qualitative research in accordance with COREQ among the members of a dance group “Gracje” from Wrocław. In the article, we show that senior women dance as a form of physical activity in the pursuit of health, enabling them to maintain the level of physical ability that allows them to fully enjoy different aspects of life. Thus, health is not only attempting to avoid illnesses, but, first of all, experiencing well-being, i.e., satisfaction with life in its physical, mental (cognitive) and social aspects. That satisfaction touches, in particular, such spheres as acceptance of an aging body, a need for personal growth and entering into new social relationships. Increasing that sense of satisfaction and agency (subjectivity) in each of those spheres as a consequence of organized dancing activity should be treated as one ...

The basic ethical values constituting the axiological basis of physiotherapy are care, professionalism, responsibility, fairness, professional integrity, respect for a patient/client’s dignity and autonomy. Those values have been selected from the theory and practice of physiotherapy, but also from socio-cultural conditions influencing the relations and interdependencies between physiotherapists and other professional groups or society as a whole. Those values can exist as qualities of a subject (a physiotherapist) or as functions realised by them (acting for the welfare of a patient/client, society, profession). Some of the analysed values have been directly enumerated in the Ethical Code of Conduct for Physiotherapists, while others must be deduced from the rules included in this document. The analysed values should be internalised by the physiotherapists during their training a...

Etyka troski zawsze pozostawia bowiem pewien obszar wolności, w obrębie które-go podejmowane decyzje zależą wyłącznie od samej jednostki.

During such classes students could gain specific knowledge about the ethical foundations for moral values and the complex relationships that exist among them, as well as the possibility of justifying the attitudes and behaviour of individuals from the perspective of ethics and morality. In addition, educators, who would be at least partly responsible for the ethical and moral education of the Polish youth, should be trained in ethical theory and moral practice. Only then would research on the morality of young people be more measurable, since the subjects could refer to the actual knowledge and its implementation in concrete actions, and not just rely on often empty statements concerning their own attitudes and moral behaviour."

The rules of justice first and foremost set the l imits beyond which a physiotherapist can hurt others or himself or herself. On the other hand, the principles of the ethics of care encourage him or her to undertake responsible actions for the sake of another person or the physiotherapist himself or herself. The ethics of justice inspired those articles in Kodeks etyczny fizjoterapeuty RP (The Code of Ethics for a Polish Physiotherapist, from here on referred to as The Code) that pertain to the adherence to law and the distribution of physiotherapeutic services. The ethics of care, in turn, governs those fragments which encourage a physiotherapist to undertake more than standard actions for the sake of another person. The goal of the present article is to analyse The Code from the perspective of the ethics of justice and the ethics of care.

The author ofL l'evolution creatrice analyses both inner and outer theleogies. However he tries to name investigative valours of theleological interpretation of reality. Bergson's research purpose was not only to analyze the very matter of theleology but to skrutinise the doctrines of finalism and mechanicism. The critique had to reveal weaknesses of these doctrines and theleology turned out to be one of the elements of it. Bergson considers the matter of theleology on three dimensions: ontological, epistemological and also methodological. Such - one may say - complimentary attitude to the matter of theleology allow him to expose several important features which prove originality of this phenomenon but also its restrictions.
