The concept of "Biosphere", introduced into scientific circulation in 1803 by Jean Baptiste Lamarck (1744-1829), to unambiguously designate the kingdom of the animal world, today is 217 years old. Over the years from 1803 to 1945, the concept expands its content two times. The first time, in 1875, when the geologist Edward Suess (1831-1914) introduced into it, next to the kingdom of the "animal world", the kingdom of "plant organic matter". The second time, in the thirties of the twentieth century. Vladimir Ivanovich Vernadsky, after studying the evolving geobiochemical diversity on Earth, offers society a planetary theory of the evolution of the "Biosphere" or "living matter". Vernadsky's planetary theory "Biosphere" is still a "thing in itself" today, although the social need for its transformation into a "thing for itself" is growing rapidly. Humanity" in the process of its "unjustified" economic activity, in the middle of the 20th century, violated the biogeochemical proportions of the "Biosphere". The "Biosphere" changed the conditions of life on Earth, and the new conditions of life turned out to be harmful for the "Man". For more than 50 years "Humanity" has been searching for a solution to the current situation, as evidenced by the documents of the UN conferences (Stockholm 1972, Rio de Janeiro 1992 and 2012). A global problem requires a global worldview theory for its solution. And such a theory, according to the decision of one of the next UN conferences, will be the planetary theory of Vernadsky "Biosphere". The planetary theory, after the decision adopted by the UN conference, will raise its status to worldview. On the pages of the article, the evolution of the concept and understanding of the "Biosphere" is shown fragmentarily over the course of 217 years; there is a logistic forecast for the development of the theory of "Biosphere" and the development of its understanding until 2120.
