The research was developed around the theme of the relationship between Freemasonry and education... more The research was developed around the theme of the relationship between Freemasonry and education and its teaching-learning models in the context of the Brazilian symbolic Lodges. The objective of the article was to analyze the effectiveness of the Masonic teaching-learning model, in order to answer questions about the teaching-learning models used by the Brazilian Masonic Symbolic Lodges, their concepts and practices, as well as which different models could be used in order to achieve more satisfactory results. The research was classified, as to the purpose, applied; as for nature, experimental; as for the approach, qualitative; as for objectives, exploratory and as for procedures, field research. The statistical universe was based on the estimated number of Freemasons active in the three mains Masonic obediences operating in Brazil: 233,000 (two hundred and thirty-three thousand) members.
