Compromised physical ability due to musculoskeletal impairment among spinal cord injury (SCI) patients is known to negatively affect their quality of life. It is essential to comprehensively understand the muscle strength of the upper extremity among patients with SCI to enhance muscle function and capacity to engage in an active lifestyle. The objective of this study was to evaluate the muscle strength of 15 upper extremity muscles among patients with SCI and compare the relative weakness of individual muscles to the control group. Seven male patients with SCI with ASIA impairment scale D and E and 33 males in the control group participated in this study. Each participant performed maximal voluntary contraction of individual muscles, and the electromyography data were recorded. The results showed that the majority of the upper extremity muscles (12 out of 15) showed considerable weakness (24 to 53%) relative to the control group. Furthermore, the relative strength (ranking) of indi...

Information sharing is a vital part of a hassle-free supply chain. And this research was about information sharing between the supply chain terminals and automation of the warehouse using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). Here input and exit were associated with RFID to count the incoming and outgoing lots of product for keeping track of the inventory status. A firebase database android app was compiled to connect the warehouse with the retailers and manufacturer. The warehouse could manage the orders of the retails and assign orders to the manufacturer and retailers could set orders to warehouse and manufacturer could receive orders from a warehouse. For further simplification warehouse stock information was made exposed to the retailers. The process would pave an apparel concept not only to make the information sharing in the supply chain more simple, spontaneous and uninterrupted but also to rehash the warehouse management easier and accurately performable.

Optimization and selecting effective design parameters are a big issue in the field of product design and development. The optimal value determination for design parameters is a challenge for the furniture industry. Therefore, an appropriate statistical approach is required. In this research the full factorial two-level four-factor design of experiment method was used to determine the optimal values for a shape changeable furniture. For the m-chair’s- which can be used as a chair, floor bed, and table, four design parameters- bending axis material surface roughness, density of body material, width of the surface plane, and the number of bending axis were evaluated on basis of the performance time of shape changing where the optimal value of influential parameters were determined for a minimum reshaping time using minitab. This method can be implemented for unique product design. But for further study, different form changing times should be considered individually.

1 | Introduction The COVID-19 pandemic began to impact the United States in early 2020 when the first virus cases were reported in the country. As the virus spread and cases increased, the US government declared a national emergency in March 2020, and many states implemented stay-at-home orders to slow the spread of the virus [1]. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a major impact on the global supply chain, leading to disruptions and challenges in multiple industries. Some of the effects include supply chain disruptions with lockdowns and border closures in place; many businesses have struggled to maintain their supply chains, leading to shortages of essential goods and supplies [2]. Additionally, the pandemic has increased demand for certain products, such as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), household essentials, and cleaning supplies, leading to shortages and price increases [3]-[5]. Then, delays in
