EVA is profit as economists think about profit. It differs from the conventional accounting-based approach in that it imposes charges for the use of all capital, including equity. The value of the firm equals capital employed, plus the present value of future EVAs. By motivating managers to increase future EVA, companies can promote value-creating behavior. When managers are evaluated and paid on the basis of EVA, they have stronger incentives to improve operational and capital efficiency, dispose of unprofitable business, achieve more optimal capital structures, and invest in value-creating projects. The aim of EVA is to provide management with a measure of their success in increasing shareholder's wealth: a better measure than profit of how much the company had made for shareholders. It is not of much direct use for valuation, but that is not what it is int...

In this article, an effective Intelligent Intrusion Detection System (IDS) is proposed using machine learning and deep learning approaches such as Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) and Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), respectively. The existing methods focus on detecting only the known attacks in VANET environment. This limitation is overcome by proposing the Intelligent IDS system using soft computing techniques. The proposed method consists of Known IDS (KIDS) and Unknown IDS (UIDS) modules, which detect both known attacks and unknown attacks. The KIDS module uses ANFIS classification module to detect the known malicious attacks, whereas the UIDS module uses a deep learning algorithm to detect the unknown attacks in VANET. Modified LeeNET (MLNET) architecture is proposed in this article to identify ...

Prices influenced the perception of affordability and would also affect the demand for private housing. The urgency to understand the intertwined relationships between housing cost (prices), affordability, and demand especially in the COVID-19 pandemic situation is high.
