    Studied the effect of work-role information on the relationship of role ambiguity and role conflict to job satisfaction. Human Ss: 164 normal Dutch adults (aged 18–22 yrs) (mean age 19.70 yrs) (machine operators or data typists) (employed at their 1st job). 250 normal Belgian adults (aged 18–22 yrs) (mean age 21.10 yrs) (machine operators or data typists) (employed at their 1st job). A structured interview was administered within the 1st 1.5 yrs of employment and 1 yr later. The LISREL technique of structural equation analysis (K. G. Jöreskog and D. Sörbom, 1993) was used.
