Chiral amino acids such as cysteic acid was derivatized with chiral reagents such as Marfey's reagents , orthophthalaldehyde ,and2,3,4,6-tetra-O-acetyl-b-D-glucopyranosyl isothiocyanate (GITC) and 2,3,4,6-tetra-O-benzoyl-b-D-glucopyranosyl isothiocyanate(BGIT), were achieved and separated by optimizing good methods using high performance liquid chromatography.
