Investigating in-depth the lived experience of 'hikikomori' I use as main references the concepts: boundaries and limits; form and morphology. Is 'hikikomori' a condition exclusively found in Japan?

In this article, I investigate the epistemological roots of ULL, claiming that this new instrument in the realm of urban planning strongly relies on action research. The article was prepared in the aftermath of the project ‘ROCK’ (2017-2020) on cultural heritage as a driver for urban regeneration, where ULL played a key role being highly relevant in the context of urban regeneration policies. https://doi.org/10.11143/fennia.97054

Volta concluded that electricity was an artificial and external phenomenon, dependent on the metals and unrelated to the frog's body; Galvani concluded that the frog's movement proved that there was such a thing as animal electricity that, even afterlife, remained stored in nerves and muscles. At stake was a metaphysical debate: Was it possible to restore a body's movement after death? Could electricity unveil the mystery of life, conveying immortality? More pragmatically: What is the impact of widespread use of electricity in our surrounding environment?

I highlight that this book is a valuable introduction to Deleuze encouraging architects and urban planners to read and get inspiration from his work.
