The paper discusses the tradition of female dervishes in Sarajevo, which we can trace from the 16th century, while echoes of this tradition are still present today. The article presents some of the most famous female dervishes (dervishhane) recorded in the history of Sarajevo. We researched women’s turbes and tombstones in Sarajevo and the surrounding area and listed local traditions and legends associated with the women buried in these graves. We have shown that the shape of a rosette, rose, jul or gül is the most significant motif of the visual culture of female dervishes, and we have presented different symbolic interpretations of this motif in Sufi spirituality. The motif is most often found on stone tombstones (nišans), and is also present in other materials. By connecting the tradition of female dervishes with the motifs of their visual culture, we wanted to gain a broader insight into the role and significance of this neglected tradition.

This chapter explores the political ideologies, narratives, and political programs on the political campaign posters during the elections. The political campaign posters often include symbolic meanings, related to nationalism, social democracy, and religion as a propaganda method for gaining support from the voters during the elections. Such complex political campaigns match a very complex political system in Bosnia and Herzegovina that has a tripartite presidency, 14 governments, and 136 different ministries. For the sake of a concise understanding of the relationship between political ideologies, political campaign posters, and elections, this paper examines the 2018 general elections in which the participation 69 parties, 34 independent candidates, and 36 coalitions. Through the prism of semiotic analysis, it is significant to analyze the ideology, political campaigns, and elections. For the sake of a visual and textual presentation selected political posters will be analyzed within the theoretical discussion through semiotic and content analysis. The aim is to analyze what is the relationship between visual graphic elements and the ideological rhetoric of political parties? What political parties on their political campaign posters want to portray or conceal? To what extent the political parties have designed their election campaigns by using the presence of conservative, nationalist and social-democratic elements of visual persuasion?

Coronavirus pandemic affected everything and everyone by interfering in all aspects of human life. The daily publication of news about the coronavirus affects the psychological state of readers. This paper has the aim to determine the impact of published covid news through the survey method and whether it affects the spread of panic among the readers and visitors of the most visited news portal in Bosnia and Herzegovina Klix.ba. Furthermore, with content analysis, this paper is examining two periods of the 2020 (March-April; October-November) to determine if coronavirus news causes more discussion among Klix.ba readers and whether this affects the number of news shares on social networks. Also, this paper will determine the ratio of comments and shares per article from the beginning of the pandemic in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the time Bosnia and Herzegovina have registered the biggest number of deaths and daily infections. The results have shown and confirmed the hypothesis that the quantity of published news (positive or negative, fake or true) spreads panic among the visitors of the most visited Bosnian news web portal. Content analysis has shown that news regarding the numbers of daily infected people, and the once died from the infections attracted the most comments on the portal and shares on social media.

Theogony is a series of eleven paintings that retell the ancient Greek myth of the birth of gods through the medium of abstract expressionistic art. Instead of focusing on physical characteristic, it rather explores the idea of "presence" of the deity, and what kind of impression that deity leaves on the audience. It is a personal expression of my understanding of various "divine" concepts. It combines the classical media of painting with video projection, creating layered and experimental installation. Project is designed to be viewable all together, as omnytrich, but also as independent paintings.
