a decentralized and open society is possible with blockchain technologies, which eliminates the need for a central authority. Owing to the usage of cryptographic rules, transactions are both encrypted and trustworthy. Blockchain technology has grown in prominence recently because of the proliferation of cryptocurrencies. Because of the need for a more patient-centric solution to healthcare services, and to integrate diverse systems, blockchain technology has enormous potential throughout the healthcare industry. A state of the art blockchain healthcare research study is presented in this article. The aim is to unveil the many ways in which this technology may be used and to bring to light the obstacles and probable future avenues in blockchain healthcare study.

Due to a shortage of storage and poor processing speed, a network consisting of lightweight computers such as IoT has issues. Unfortunately, these problems make the implementation of solid protection solutions significantly more difficult, which decreases network security efficiency. A secure blockchain is ideal for IoT use cases that struggle with poor protection. An improvement in stability, lightness, and reliability of the IoT network is being pursued by blockchains use in IoT. Today's Internet of Things (IoT) applications are lacking in built-in protection technology, which puts out various security flaws and privacy issues. Electronic Health Record (EHR) is being used in most healthcare institutions through the advancement in computer technologies to preserve and share health records instead of a paper-based method. Data information should be exchanged amongst various parties and users' privileges to manage access to their records should also be provided.  In addition to the basic standards of secrecy, confidentiality and integrity of information, these acts further demonstrate the need for interoperability and consumer access to personal data. EHR frameworks face problems in the protection of data collection, reputation and management. For this purpose, the research identified that the current state of interoperability is not up to the required standard, so numerous issues are experienced in managing electronic health records. In addition, the research identified numerous standards being used for interoperability, including OpenEHR, OpenEMR, OpenMRS, GNU Health and OSHERA VistA. It can be argued that the use of HL7 and its different versions can play an instrumental role in the integration of the healthcare environment. Electronic Medical Records serve to be a crucial form of personal information. It’s necessary to maintain the confidentiality and integrity of an EMR. This problem is naturally solved by implementing a block-chain based health care system. Each transaction record serves to be an EMR for each patient visit. The system implemented links doctors, patients and health bureaus for record sharing, review and remote care administration. This implementation is only used by the hospital nodes of the health-care system. This system uses consortium block-chain, making EMR access role-specific. It also eases retrieval of specific records confined to the nodes requesting the EMR.
