Dağlık Kilikya Bölgesi’nin en görkemli kentleri arasında yer alan Syedra Antik Kenti, Alanya İlçe... more Dağlık Kilikya Bölgesi’nin en görkemli kentleri arasında yer alan Syedra Antik Kenti, Alanya İlçesi, Seki Köyü sınırları içerisindedir. İsmini Sedre Çayı’ndan aldığı düşünülen kent, oldukça yüksek bir tepe üzerine konumlandırılmıştır. Kentte 2019 yılında başlatılan ilk sistemli kazılar, sütunlu caddenin hemen güneyinde bulunan Büyük Hamam kompleksinin frigidaryum bölümünde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu alanda yürütülen çalışmalar sırasında opus tessellatum tekniğinde yapılmış, 7.9 m genişliğe ve 21.91 m uzunluğa sahip, eşine nadir rastlanabilecek bir taban mozaiği ile karşılaşılmıştır. Siyah zemin üzerine çok renkli tesseraların kullanılmasıyla oluşturulmuş geometrik desenli bir bordürle çevrelenen taban mozaiğinde, Herakles’in on iki işinin betimlendiği görülmüştür. Kilikya ve diğer çevre bölgelerde bir benzerine henüz rastlanmayan söz konusu mozaiğe yönelik bu çalışma, ilk değerlendirmeleri içermektedir. Mozaiğin üslup özelliklerini belirleyen geometrik ve figüratif bezemeler ışığında yakın bölgedeki benzer örneklerle karşılaştırılarak yapım tarihinin tespiti ve çevre kentlerdeki diğer atölyelerle etkileşimin var olup olmadığının belirlenmesi amaçlamaktadır. Bu doğrulta yapılan incelemeler Syedra’daki Herakles mozaiğinin üslup özellikleri açısından özellikle Zeugma ve Antioch/Antakya mozaikleri ile benzerlik

ÖZET MÖ 1200'lerde Hitit İmparatorluğu'nun yıkılışı ve akabinde gerçekleşen Geç Tunç Çağı'n sonla... more ÖZET MÖ 1200'lerde Hitit İmparatorluğu'nun yıkılışı ve akabinde gerçekleşen Geç Tunç Çağı'n sonlanışı, Anadolu'da Demir Çağlar olarak isimlendirilecek bir dönemin sayfalarını aralamıştır. Tunç Çağı'ndan tamamen farklı bir kültürel sürecin yaşandığı bu dönemin, dinamiklerinin anlaşılmasında seramiklerin incelenmesi yoluyla edinilecek bilgiler oldukça önemlidir. Bu bağlamda yapılan bu çalışmayla, hala birçok bilinmeyene sahip Orta Anadolu Demir Çağı'na katkı sağlamak amaçlanmaktadır. Söz konusu çalışmada Demir Çağ özelliği gösteren seramikler evrelerine göre ayrılarak kendi dönemi içerisinde değerlendirilmiştir. Güvenilir stratigrafiye sahip yerleşimlerdeki benzer örnekler yoluyla yapılan karşılaştırmalar bölgeler arası etkileşim ve ilişkilerin anlaşılmasında yol gösterici olmuştur. Ayrıca yapılan karşılaştırmalar, seramiklerin kronolojik çerçevesinin belirlenmesi ve özellikle yerleşimdeki Erken Demir Çağ (EDÇ) seramik geleneğinin, Orta Anadolu için önerilen seramik kültür bölgelerinden hangisiyle bağlantılı olduğunun anlaşılmasında belirleyici olmuştur.
Özet: M.Ö. 9-6. yüzyıllar arasında merkezini Van Gölü Havzası ve çevresinin oluştur-duğu Urartu K... more Özet: M.Ö. 9-6. yüzyıllar arasında merkezini Van Gölü Havzası ve çevresinin oluştur-duğu Urartu Krallığı, merkezileşmiş siyasi otoritesi, sağlamış olduğu kültürel birliği ve maddi kültür zenginlikleri ile Anadolu uygarlıkları içerisinde yerini almıştır. 300 yıllık ta-rihi sürecinde çok sayıda yeniliğe imzasını atan Urartu Devleti, sanat alanında da özgün eserler ortaya koymuştur. Bu eşsiz sanat ürünleri arasında bugün çeşitli müzeler ve özel koleksiyonlara dağılmış durumdaki kemerler, zengin süsleme ve sahneleri ile özel bir yere sahiptir. Kemerlerin üzeri savaş arabaları, süvariler, avlanan insanlar, hayvanlar, geo-metrik ve bitkiselsel motifl erle süslenmiştir. Fantastik yaratıklardan naturalistik betimle-re değin çeşitlilik arz eden bu süsleme ve sahnelerin stil ve ikonografi k özellikleri Urartu resim sanatının daha iyi anlaşılmasına olanak sağlamaktadır. Bu çalışmada kemerler üzerinde yer alan insan tasvirleri ele alınmıştır. Yapılan incelemeler sonucunda " Askeri Nitelikli " , " Dini Nitelikli " tasvirler ve " Avcılar " olmak üzere 3 farklı grup tespit edilmiş, bunlarında kendi içerisinde alt gruplara ayrıldığı anlaşılmıştır. Ayrıca kemerler üzerin-deki tasvirler aracılığıyla Urartu sanatçısının insan fi gürlerini nasıl betimlendiği, tasvire bağlı bir stil gelişimi yapmanın mümkün olup olmadığı gibi sorulara yanıt aranmıştır. Urartu Empire whose centre is constitued by Lake Van Basin and its surroundings,took her place among the Anotolian civilizations with her centralized political authority, cultural unity and wealth. The geography on which this civilization was founded, formerly hosted many civilizations, too. Urartu Empire which stayed on the scene of history about 300 years.In this process, made many innovations and produce original works in the fi eld of art. Among the uniqe art product, the belts, which today spread various museum and special collections, are important with their rich ornamentation and scenes. The stylistic and iconografi c features of these ornamentation and scenes,which were performed pleasurely by the artists of Urartu, provide opportunity to understand better the art of painting of Urartu. On the belts, the scenes, which presented diversity from fantastic creatures to naturalistic imagery, have been seen.In this study we will handle the portrayings of human which we encounter frequently on these belts and make evaluations about them.
