that affect scholastic achievement of students beyond their personal intelligence. Teachers,
administrators and policymakers can carry out targeted efforts to advance equal opportunities
and improve overall academic accomplishments by recognizing, addressing and considering
these elements, which include and are not limited to, parenting style, social media addiction,
academic anxiety, academic motivation, peer relation, school environment, home environment

However, The Covid-19 outbreak has caused mayhem on social relationships and has changed the manner individuals interact with one another. Face-to-face communications were typically limited to primary members amid the apex of Covid-19 restrictions because some 'weak' ties were lost, and connections grew more confined to those closest. The case study approach was used in this qualitative work to understand students' perceptions of many facets of social relationships (family, relatives, teachers, classmates, coworkers, friends, and strangers) and how the Covid-19 Pandemic affects their interpersonal relationships. Six Post graduate students at Kashmir University participated in the study and were purposively selected and interviewed. The data for this study was collected by semi-structured interviews. The face-to-face interview with PG students at Kashmir University lasted up for forty-five minutes per student focused on the individuals' stories and interpretations of their viewpoints about social relationships and experience of change in social relationships brought about by the Covid-19 outbreak. The results of this research lead to the conclusion that the existence of social ties has a great beneficial influence on psychological and physiological health, adding to an individual's overall well-being, but the lack of social relationships increases the likelihood of psychological discomfort. Social relationships provide freedom of self-disclosure to expose one's personal difficulties and feelings. The loss of in-person interactions as a result of the Covid 19 outbreak, as well as the total shift to virtual connections, had been a major difficulty. Increased virtual relations has created societal chaos and diminished value system. A significant drift in norms of interaction has been found.

It is significant in human life since we are all anxious in different ways. The information in this paper was compiled after a thorough examination of previous research in this field. The primary goal of the study was to learn about the numerous elements connected with academic anxiety. High academic anxiety undermines students' efforts and motivation. It interferes with their cognitive processes, causing them to lose track of what they've learnt. Teachers must create a positive learning atmosphere in the classroom and provide remedial sessions to students from remote areas in order to help them achieve success. Further, when students' academic anxiety is high, it affects their attentiveness and memory, both of which are necessary for academic achievement.

This occurrence is influenced by economic, social, geographic, and political variables. 'The human species is not a migratory species, but it is a restless one that moves in response to its social, economic, cultural, and ecological surroundings' (1984). In this study, the human migration behaviour was probed and reviewed in the context of social, political, geographical, and economic factors. This research and evaluation of the literature provides insight into migratory behaviour as it is influenced by geo-economics, psychosocial, and political aspects, as well as the good and bad effects on people. People from various geographical and economic backgrounds will promote the spread of new ideas and the study of new languages, assisting people in developing skills for working in various parts of the world/country. However, this section of literature goes on to say that the majority of people are forced out of their communities because they don't have enough possibilities to live a pleasant life and are dealing with various psychosocial issues.

A child's entire growth is influenced by his or her family environment. The data for this descriptive research was collected from 300 secondary school students using self-constructed questionnaires.Statistical techniques such as mean, standard deviation, percentage method, t-test, and Pearson's Coefficient of Correlation were employed to investigate the acquired data. This study discovered a significant association between home environment and social adjustment of secondary school students of Kashmir. The data also revealed that when it comes to the home environment and social adjustment, male and female secondary school students had significantly different mean scores. When students were assessed based on their geographic location(urban vs rural), it was evident that rural secondary school students had better home contexts and social adaptations than their urban counterparts. Because the home environment has such a considerable impact on students' social adjustment, it is highly encouraged that they are provided with peace and tranquility at home so that, through valiant efforts, sheer determination, and familial support, they can achieve all of their career ambitions and acclimate well to the society in which they live.

In today's world, young minds spend a lot of time on the internet. One of the simplest approaches is to use social media, which incorporates media and social connectivity sites. Social networking has become an important element of many young people's life nowadays. The majority of people use social media without thinking about the influence it has on their lives, whether positive or negative. We are more concerned with our virtual friends than the folks with whom we interact on a daily basis in today's techno-culture. Parenting is a complex and diverse task that entails a number of different behaviors that interact to influence children's prospects both individually and collectively (Darling, 1999). The current study aimed to examine parenting style and adolescent social media addiction. According to the findings, Kashmiri adolescents are subjected to authoritarian parenting approaches and are moderately addicted to social media. Male and female adolescents were found equally addicted to social media but the difference on the basis of locale (urban vs rural) and type of family (joint vs nuclear) was found to be significant.
