This paper reports two studies that examine the difference between happiness and academic procrastination among undergraduate students. The first study investigates gender and geographic location differences in happiness and academic procrastination levels, finding that males and urban students report higher levels of both. The second study, conducted in Kashmir, explores undergraduate students’ subjective experiences and perspectives on happiness and academic procrastination. The second study’s objective was to gain an understanding of how undergraduate students in Kashmir subjectively experience happiness and academic procrastination. Employing a qualitative research design and using thematic analysis, the study revealed that happiness is a personal experience that can be achieved in various ways, including through social relationships, activities, and gratitude. The study offers insights into the perceptions of undergraduate students in Kashmir regarding happiness and academic pr...

Adolescence is the most vulnerable stage of life, and children at this age require greater parental attention, care, love, and support. In today's world, young minds spend a lot of time on the internet. One of the simplest approaches is to use social media, which incorporates media and social connectivity sites. Social networking has become an important element of many young people's life nowadays. The majority of people use social media without thinking about the influence it has on their lives, whether positive or negative. We are more concerned with our virtual friends than the folks with whom we interact on a daily basis in today's techno-culture. Parenting is a complex and diverse task that entails a number of different behaviors that interact to influence children's prospects both individually and collectively (Darling, 1999). The current study aimed to examine parenting style and adolescent social media addiction. According to the findings, Kashmiri adolescent...

-People's employment and personal life have been shattered as a result of the pandemic (Venkatesh, 2020), much of which can be related to the abrupt transition to WFH. WFH is currently considered as a viable approach for reducing the risk of COVID-19 infection. The investigators used an online survey to discover about the researchers' perceptions of their Work from Home (WFH) experience during Covid 19.
The survey's findings are based on the responses of 172 respondents (researchers). Despite some beneficial aspects of WFH, researchers' general view toward their WFH experience is still negative. 86% of the researchers are not satisfied with the progress of their research work due to WFH. Among the respondents 62.8% disagreed to
work more from home after the lockdown as WFH impedes the speed of research’s research work progress (79%), decrease productivity of research work (83.7%) and hinders the development of new research skills (83.8%). Moreover, to WFH isolated the researchers from rest of their colleagues and makes them feel lonelier (75.1%) which in turn can diminish the excitement and enthusiasm of the researchers (88.4%). In general, communication among co-researchers of the research lab/team (86.1%) and communication with the Supervisor/research guide (74.4%) can be challenged by
working from home and accordingly it can create difficulties in self-motivation of researchers (83.7%). Moreover, the attitude of researchers toward WFH differs significantly based on gender, marital status and position of researchers.

Inclusive education is a process of identifying and responding to the various needs of all children, youth, and adults by boosting involvement in learning, cultures, and communities, and eliminating exclusion inside and from education. It is a stepping stone to a future inclusive society. The current study aims to explore the ground level situation of inclusive education in Kashmir with special reference to children with disability. Despite the Indian government's efforts to incorporate children with special needs in mainstream education, the study found that a significant percentage of children with special needs remain out of school. According to the findings of this study, resource teachers and resource rooms are in scarcity; as a result, resource teachers and resource rooms should be established in practically every school to ensure that every exceptional child receives attention. Even in schools where inclusive education is Implemented, the infrastructure required for an inclusive teachinglearning process is lacking.

Covid-19 has been labelled a pandemic by the World Health Organization, necessitating the implementation of extensive lockdown measures in March 2020 practically everywhere in the world. The pandemic threw everyone's life into disarray, especially those in the education field. School closures have happened quickly, leaving schools with little or no time to create a strategy and shift to distance learning. To address the situation, schools chose a new era of online instruction, which came with its own set of problems. Using secondary data, this article examines the influence of the Covid-19 outbreak on teaching and learning processes around the world. A paradigm shift in teaching and learning occurred, and the challenges and opportunities that resulted from this paradigm shift were outlined through this review article.

Teachers must make multiple decisions about how they educate, and pedagogies give frameworks for these options. When current practice is not effectively addressing demands, pedagogical innovation, like any other type of innovation, takes existing ideas, tools, or procedures and combines them in new ways to solve problems. In order to guarantee that educational practices are relevant and successful, emphasis must be made to innovative pedagogies that can foster a spirit of inquiry and intellectual discussion. It's critical to choose an educational strategy that aims to teach and enhance the next generation so that they can contribute meaningfully to the success of their country. This chapter explored innovative pedagogies in primary, secondary, and tertiary education based on secondary data. Innovative pedagogy needs knowledge expanding and deepening. The most significant pedagogical difficulties are how to improve student learning and fulfill the needs of a diverse range of stud...

Migration is the third element that determines population changes, after birth rate and mortality rate. This occurrence is influenced by economic, social, geographic, and political variables. 'The human species is not a migratory species, but it is a restless one that moves in response to its social, economic, cultural, and ecological surroundings' (1984). In this study, the human migration behaviour was probed and reviewed in the context of social, political, geographical, and economic factors. This research and evaluation of the literature provides insight into migratory behaviour as it is influenced by geo-economics, psychosocial, and political aspects, as well as the good and bad effects on people. People from various geographical and economic backgrounds will promote the spread of new ideas and the study of new languages, assisting people in developing skills for working in various parts of the world/country. However, this section of literature goes on to say that the majority of people are forced out of their communities because they don't have enough possibilities to live a pleasant life and are dealing with various psychosocial issues.

The milieu in which a child develops physically, intellectually, emotionally, culturally, and socially is his or her home. A child's entire growth is influenced by his or her family environment. The data for this descriptive research was collected from 300 secondary school students using self-constructed questionnaires.Statistical techniques such as mean, standard deviation, percentage method, t-test, and Pearson's Coefficient of Correlation were employed to investigate the acquired data. This study discovered a significant association between home environment and social adjustment of secondary school students of Kashmir. The data also revealed that when it comes to the home environment and social adjustment, male and female secondary school students had significantly different mean scores. When students were assessed based on their geographic location(urban vs rural), it was evident that rural secondary school students had better home contexts and social adaptations than their urban counterparts. Because the home environment has such a considerable impact on students' social adjustment, it is highly encouraged that they are provided with peace and tranquility at home so that, through valiant efforts, sheer determination, and familial support, they can achieve all of their career ambitions and acclimate well to the society in which they live.
