For centuries women were not treated equal to men in many ways. They were not allowed to own property, they did not have a share in the property of their parents, they had no voting rights and they had no freedom to choose their work or job and so on. This paper attempts to study the status of women empowerment in India and highlights the issues and challenges of women empowerment. Today the empowerment of women has become one
of the most important concerns of 21st century. But practically women empowerment is still an illusion of reality. Women Empowerment is the vital instrument to expand women’s ability to have resources and to make strategic life choices. Empowerment of women is essentially the process of upliftment of economic, social and political status of women. The
study is based on purely from secondary sources. The study reveals that women of India are relatively disempowered and they enjoy somewhat lower status than that of men in spite of many efforts undertaken by Government. It is found that acceptance of unequal gender norms by women are still prevailing in the society. The study concludes by an observation that access to Education, Employment and Change in Social Structure are only the enabling factors to Women Empowerment.

Today we are living in an age of rapid scientific and technological changeable society but we have not learned to live with our fellowmen in peace and value in the society. This paper describes Mahatma Gandhi in the light of peace and value education through an exploration of their content and institutional development. Mahatma Gandhi treated his individual life in accordance with his ideas. He said "my life is my message". Therefore Gandhism is a mixture of Gandhi's concepts and practices. He practiced and prescribed non-violence as a remedy against all social evils. It is the most ancient eternal values and culture of India. He said on this account, "I have nothing new to teach you .Truth and non-violence are as old as hill." Non-violence and Truth are two sides of a same coin. For Gandhi value education is necessary for moral development of individual whereas peace education is vital for humankind as a whole. His peace and value education offers many possibilities for dealing with short-term violence, but its greatest strength is its long-term preventative education and socialization.

One of the critical areas of focus of the policy is teacher education, with an emphasis on continuous professional development, integration of teacher education programs into the mainstream education system, and promotion of interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary education. However, there are several challenges that need to be addressed, including inadequate infrastructure and resources, lack of qualified faculty and trainers, and issues of quality and standardization of teacher education programs. Primary aims of this research paper is to study the new approaches to identify and analyse the prospects and challenges of NEP 2020 for teacher education in India. The research methodology used for this study is qualitative approach. Through a review of literature, analysis of policy documents and various articles this paper identifies the potential impact of this policy on teacher education in India and opportunities for innovation and transformation in the field. Arsenic poisoning is the largest mass poisoning in history. It causes numerous toxic effects to human health which ultimately leads to cancer or Alzheimer's disease. Nearly 300 million people over 180 countries worldwide are suffering from the arsenic contaminated groundwater more than WHO directed limit. Despite of its potential fatal toxicities, there is no effective treatment for arsenicosis. Cost-effective arsenic removal technology is also a matter of considerable research. This study aimed to summarize the individual and social issues related to arsenic problem and the remedies suggested by different authors to cope with the adverse effects of arsenic. Reported studies emphasized that only mass awareness and mass education can stop the spreading of this disaster. This study will be helpful for future research on the awareness on arsenic contamination and studies on assessing behavior in different context. Policymakers may find it as helpful resource since it describes the problem from grassroots level. Researchers' of pharmaceuticals and medicines may be inspired to perform their research in this field.
