Alpha Centauri (α Centauri, α Cen; juga dikenali sebagai Rigel Kent /ˈraɪdʒəl ˈkɛnt/) merupakan bintang tercerah di selatan buruj Centaurus. Walaupun ia kelihatan pada mata kasar sebagai objek tunggal, Alpha Centauri sebenarnya sistem bintang dedua (dikenali Alpha Centauri AB atau α Cen AB) magnitud visual gabungannya –0.27 menjadikannya bintang tunggal ke-3 tercerah di langit malam selepas –1.46 magnitud Sirius dan –0.72 magnitude Canopus.
