Although the manufacturers conduct a lot of market studies, their outcomes are not made available to the public. Therefore, consumer behaviour of mobile phone is an open area for study. The paper attempts to identify the factors that influence the purchase of mobile phones by the youth in Bhutan. It uses factor analysis as a tool to identify the factors that influence the consumer behaviour. This paper surveyed 254 Bhutanese consumers and looked at their motives to purchase new mobile phones. The outcome of the study identifies five accountable factors while making the purchase of a mobile phone by the youth community.
Handbook of Research on Inequities in Online Education During Global Crises

This shift in teaching modalities, placed the faculty members under a relentless pressure to adopt and adapt, to transform themselves into proficient online educators. How did this process of adjustment take place? How did the faculty members acclimatize to their new virtual classrooms? What dilemmas and choices were faced by the faculty members? are questions lacking empirical insights. Yet if this lacuna were overcome, it would provide “real life” insights pertaining to LMS systems, technological tools and apps, and psychological and social isolations which could impede the quality of teaching and learning. This chapter integrates autoethnographic narratives of three faculty members to “recreate the new normal” for HEIs worldwide.

Three retention models for banking industry with the said variables had been hypothesized and tested to find that most appropriate model. Design/Methodology/Approach - The required data of 301 lower and middle level managers was finalized using stratified random sampling. The managers examined for the study were with minimum two years of experience in the same bank. The study was conducted in two phases- (i) Significant determinants of retention were identified using multiple and hierarchical regression analysis, (ii) Involving only significant determinants three retention models were created and tested using Structural equation modelling (SEM). Findings- SEM result of best fit model suggests that perceived alternative employment opportunities,...
