    Abstrak: Jenis kelamin adalah merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi siswa dalam menguasai materi di sekolah mereka. Hal ini yang membuat peneliti tertarik untuk mengetahui pengaruh jenis kelamin dalam menulis teks deskriptif. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti meminta siswa untuk menulis teks deskriptif. Dia tidak memberikan topik tertentu dalam menulis deskriptif sehingga siswa dapat menulis teks deskriptif berdasarkan minat mereka misalnya artis, keluarga, teman, hewan, hewan peliharaan, dan dirinya sendiri karena ide siswa dapat keluar jika mereka menyukai apa yang sedang dilakukannya. Kemudian, peneliti menganalisa komposisi siswa terutama apa kecenderungan sebagian besar siswa dalam menulis teks deskriptif untuk siswa laki-laki dan perempuan serta siapa yang memiliki paling banyak kesalahan dalam menggunakan kata kerja dalam komposisi mereka antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan.     Narotama University has two classes for employee class. They are Class B and Class C. Class B get classic learning. On the other hand, Class C get classic learning and e-learning, it is called as Elina. This research is quasi experimental. The author tests the scores in the business English course on the midterm, final exam, assignments, attendance and total scores for the semester using the t-test method. The result is that there is no significant difference between mixed learning classes and classical learning classes for total scores and attendance. On the other hand, specifically there are two significant differences. First, in midterm grades, mixed learning classes have lower grades than classical learning classes. Second, in the final examination and assignment grades, mixed learning classes have higher grades than classical learning classes

    This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the educational application that is applied in Yapita Kindergarten Surabaya. The author uses descriptive qualitative methods. The author focuses on how to apply computer education applications to help students memorize the alphabet. The author made observations during the 3x meeting. Each meeting, they get a different computer education application game but the contents of the material are the same. The application has been installed on every school computer that has been adapted to the material being taught. The subject of the research was TK A, amounting to 30 students. Each student uses the computer provided at each meeting for 30 minutes. The results showed that learning media through varied computer programs in a game will make children more excited and enthusiastic to learn because it is not boring.     This study aims to determine the effectiveness of traffic driving simulations at Qilpi Al Jihad Kindergarten in Surabaya. The author uses a qualitative descriptive method. The author focuses on applying traffic driving simulations with used media to improve discipline in children from an early age. The author observes 4 times meetings. Each of their meetings plays a different role but with the same content. Media used materials used are available at school and have been adapted to the material being taught. The research subjects were the Qilpi Al Jihad Surabaya Kindergarten which numbered 14 students. All students use media from used materials at each meeting for 30 minutes. The results showed that learning media through varied media used materials will make children more enthusiastic and enthusiastic to learn because it is not boring.     This study aimed to determine the use of educational games to improve memorization of 1-20 numbers in TK Diponegoro Surabaya. This school is located at Jalan Kedung Sroko No.17 Surabaya. The sample of this study was the children of B group Diponegoro Kindergarten. The authors used descriptive qualitative methods. The author focused on how to apply the use of educational games to improve memorization numbers 1-20 at Tk Diponegoro Surabaya. The author made observations during the 3x meeting. Each meeting, they play a different educational game but with the same content. The subject of the research was Diponegoro Kindergarten with 20 students.     Hot Potatoes application is one of educational software that contains exercises. The teacher can make the exercise by his own. It consists of JCloze, JQuiz, JCross, JMatch, JMix, and The Masher. Each of them has their own features. The researcher had two statements of the problem. First, he focused on how to create the teaching material using hot potatoes application. Second, he focused on how to apply the hot potatoes application in teaching descriptive text. Next, the subject of this research was the seventh grade students in one of private schools in Surabaya. The research design was descriptive qualitative. The research was conducted in three meetings. Every meeting, the students got different descriptive text
