The green revolution is a concept that many researchers and scholars have come to acquaint themselves with over the last two centuries. The idea was developed as a means to eradicate hunger and reduce food shortage, and more recently it has evolved into something that has become a developmental solution for states, with benefits spanning from domestic to international levels. However the level of success that the revolution brought to theses regions is challenged by critics. This short piece will consider the successes and shortcomings of the green revolution, counterbalancing and juxtaposes them side by side to measure the level of impact the green revolution process has had altogether.

It is true that history has benefitted the world, scholars and political and economic institutions, However the nature of the construction or concoctions of its facts are called to question. many critics have argue that history is nothing but fabricated facts made to suit biases and preferences of certain groups and at such should not be held as authentic or a reference point for the present day and the future. This short piece was examine why historical accounts are fabricated and how these distortion affects the course of proceedings in today's world, socially, economically and politically.

The South China Seas disputes centers around maritime and island claimed by six sovereign states namely: China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Brunei, the Philippines and Malaysia. More recently, the territorial spats over the waters and islands of the South China Sea have roiled relations between China and the other claimants; Philippines, Vietnam, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Brunei, and the tension between the claimants continues to escalate in the wake of U.S. announced "pivot" of focus to the region, leading to series of provocations and confrontations overtime and more recently internationalization of the dispute.  Recent events has brought about a demand for urgent solutions in order to deescalate the growing tensions in the South China Seas between China and the other six states involved, over maritime areas, territories and Islands. This paper presents an overview of the issue and offer feasible recommendation that can be considered to ease the tension among the various claimants.
