The study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of teaching the proposed program based on the instrumental enrichment strategy in the Music Education Teaching Methods course in developing some future thinking skills for students of music education teachers, fourth grade, Faculty of Specific Education, Port Said University. It relied on the use of the descriptive approach that was used to determine the future thinking skills that need to be developed and the quasi-experimental approach that was used to determine the effectiveness of the proposed program using the research tool, which is the test of future thinking skills. The study recommended the necessity of moving away from the traditional methods in teaching students teachers from the traditional methods that depend on memorization and indoctrination, and paying attention to using modern methods of teaching that are commensurate with the abilities and interests of student teachers, and that the Ministry of Education and its directorates should prepare training programs for teachers and teachers on how to use the strategy Al-Wasili enrichment in teaching them the curricula of music education and setting plans to implement this strategy in teaching and to benefit from the evidence prepared by the researcher, Enriching music education books and courses in the different educational stages with enrichment activities prepared according to the enrichment and Wassili strategy, and preparing lessons according to other strategies and teaching models.

Effectiveness of Using Info Graphics in Teaching Curriculum Course to Develop some Visual Thinking Skills among Fourth-Year Students at Faculties of Specific Education

The aim of the research was to identify the effectiveness of using info  graphics in teaching the curriculum course to develop some visual thinking skills among fourth-year students at the Faculty of Specific Education, Port Said University. The research relied on the experimental approach. The research tools were represented in the visual thinking skills test, which was applied to a sample of (70) male and female students from the fourth-year students of the Faculty of Specific Education from the faculties’ departments. They were divided equally into an experimental group that studied using educational info graphics, and a control group that studied using the traditional method, each consisting of (35) male and female students. The results showed that there were statistically significant differences between the average scores of the experimental and control groups for the visual thinking skills test as a whole and the skills individually in favor of the experimental group scores. There were also statistically significant differences between the average scores of the experimental group in the pre- and post-applications of the visual thinking skills test as a whole and the skills individually in favor of the post-application. There was also an effective impact of using educational info graphics in the curriculum in developing visual thinking skills among students in the experimental group. The research recommended the need to pay attention to using info graphics, especially in teaching theoretical courses, due to their effective role in the educational process and developing visual thinking skills.
