Resumo
Abstract
This paper aims to undertake a dialogue between the Historical- Cultural Psychology
perspective –
mainly the work of Vigotsky – and the Sociology of Childhood, especially authors who are
dedicated to the study of play ( Brougère , 1998; Corsaro , 1997; Delalande , 2001 and
Ferreira , 2002). We will draw attention to the contributions of these two fields for the
comprehension of the play as a factor of humanization and cultural production of the
childhood. Through the dialogue between these two academic fields we focus on the
different qualities of the play that are taking into account in the construction of the
indicatives for the childhood education that assume the play as an axis of the educational
work.
