I'm sure we would agree, there is as much good information in academia as there is bad. As a researcher, I've had to find ways to separate the valuable information from the garbage. To do this, I've learned to incorporate other disciplines or subjects to get a more detailed picture. In the past, scholars would draw on different areas of knowledge to answer the difficult questions of the day. The term for those who apply multiple academic disciplines are called polymaths. A polymath (Greek: πολυμαθής, polymathēs, "having learned much"; Latin: homo universalis, "universal human") [1] is an individual whose knowledge spans a substantial number of subjects, known to draw on complex bodies of knowledge to solve specific problems. In this book, the goal will be to get a better understanding of History using Law, Genetics and Genealogy.

Credit for the initial slave voyage by an Englishman went to John Hawkins. Hawkins made voyages to the Canary Islands in the years leading up to 1561, and there he had learnt about the Atlantic slave tradetaking people from Guinea off the African coast and selling them in the Spanish Caribbean colonies. [5] An act of Congress passed in 1800 made it illegal for Americans to engage in the slave trade between nations and gave U.S. authorities the right to seize slave ships which were caught transporting slaves and confiscate their cargo. Then the "Act Prohibiting the Importation of Slaves" took effect in 1808.

Americans are divided more than ever and there is a rising tide who would like to cancel the forefathers for being hypocritical. Were they? Truth Translation: All men are created equal.
