Jetstorm (G2)
From Transformers Wiki
The name or term "Jetstorm" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Jetstorm (disambiguation). |
- Jetstorm is a Decepticon Color Changer from the Generation 2 portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Only tolerated because he's useful, Jetstorm is unloved by all. As mission coordinator, it's his job to tell people what to do and he relishes in the task. Bossy and domineering, Jetstorm loves commanding others through the marching orders he gives out. He's a bully, but he's an effective bully, with a keen eye for properly assigning resources. The Decepticons keep him around because of his skill, and because few are brave enough to cross him. If another Decepticon tries to countermand his directives, that lippy soldier may soon find himself relocated to a detachment in the Toxic Sludge Swamp or the planet Goo.
Revenge is a dish best served on little slips of paper.

Fiction
Wings Universe
Jetstorm was one of the second generation of Transformers created on Earth, and considered the Autobot Aquafend his "brother". At some point he traveled to Cybertron. Generation 2: Redux
There, the Decepticon spy network allegedly stationed him in New Iacon in order to plan out heists. Jetstorm's profile in Club magazine #31
When a strange Autobot visitor and his Quintesson companion wandered into the wrong part of Cybertron, Jetstorm joined Deluge and the Battlechargers in intimidating the pair. Jetstorm chided the Autobot for hanging out with a Quintesson; he should really know better.
Unfortunately for Jetstorm and the other Decepticons, their foe was way, way more powerful than they suspected and they were left defeated in a pile. The Coming Storm: Part 1
Upon returning to Earth, Jetstorm and Deluge joined Clench's army and helped conquer the Large Hadron Collider. When the Autobots inevitably attacked, the two Decepticons went up against Aquafend and Gobots. Jetstorm greeted his bro, but before they could start fighting, he and the others were caught in leaked forestonite gas. Presumably, this gave Jetstorm some kind of superpower, though he wasn't seen demonstrating it before the Decepticons were forced to retreat. Generation 2: Redux
2005 IDW continuity
Jetstorm served under the command of Turmoil when their second-in-command Deadlock violated orders. Deadlock attacked the Autobots when Turmoil ordered him not to, and then executed a fellow Decepticon who planned on reporting his insubordination. Deadlock tried to rally Jetstorm and several other soldiers from Turmoil's forces under his new leadership. Jetstorm and his comrades refused, and turned Deadlock over to Turmoil to answer for his attempted mutiny. Drift #1
