Onyx
From Transformers Wiki
The name or term "Onyx" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Onyx (disambiguation). |
Garrison Blackrock heads Onyx, a cutting-edge megacorporation that reverse-engineers and adapts Transformer technology for the personal market. Through this mission statement, Onyx has revolutionized the electronics industry with a bevy of tablets, networking sites, personal computers, and other electronic gizmos.
At least, that's what most people know about the company. Those in Blackrock's inner circle know that their eccentric founder has found more insidious applications for his marvelous technology, creating armies of man-made Transformers and even colluding with the Decepticons. Even fewer people are aware that Blackrock's business empire owes its origins to the legendary Enigma of Combination, a supernatural artifact capable of warping the fabric of the universe, and that Blackrock himself is not entirely of this Earth... even subconsciously naming his company after his former master.
Unlike many other companies, Onyx's products have not yet turned homicidal, so that's probably a good thing to put in their quarterly reports.
