Many centuries ago, the Decepticons sent Predacons to Earth. One of them eventually expired in Scotland. In need of Predacon CNA, a small team of Vehicons went there to recover the creature's remains, and their activity was detected by human surveillance. Ultra Magnus, Bulkhead, and Wheeljack were sent there to investigate. Project Predacon Miko Nakadai stowed away as well. The team soon overcame the Vehicons, but had a harder time when they faced Starscream and the Predacon he brought with him. This resulted in the destruction of the caves the fossils were located in. Transformers vs. G.I. Joe
Millions of years ago, the Ark crash-landed on an island near Scotland. By medieval times, a group of Cobra druid-priests had arisen, protecting the "island of the gods". Around this time, Laird Mac Cullen embarked on a pilgrimage to the island, accompanied by his friends and mute brother.
The young brother reactivated a Sky Spy probe, which scanned the boy and exchanged information, allowing it to temporarily reactivate a small Decepticon. The Scotsmen killed the Decepticon and took its parts, fleeing the island after the local druids realized they had desecrated the holy place. Shortly afterwards, the druids sold out the Mac Cullens to a band of Vikings, who attacked the Mac Cullen clan. After learning the secrets of firearms from the probe, the young Mac Cullen killed their leader Thor FalkenHauser. He returned to the island, drove off the druids, and built Castle Destro over the ruins of the Ark. Following World War I, Destro had his castle relocated to California. Stick To Your Guns
