Books by Diego Chapinal-Heras
Papers (main topics) by Diego Chapinal-Heras
*e aim of this study is to review the debate concerning the identification of the archaeological site of Mesopotamon, in the coast of Epirus, as the well-known Nekyomanteion of the Acheron. Troughout comparison and analysis of the arguments of each hypothesis, this paper will attempt to provide an accurate approach that allow us to discern the most solid theory.
This article presents an overview of the history of an inscription, LOD 142. Its publication and analysis have followed different steps from the conventional ones. On the basis of this issue, a brief commentary is offered on the type of answers given by the oracle of Dodona, related to the performance of certain ritual acts, without any kind of ambiguity or possible double reading.
consagrado a Zeus Hipsisto.

This paper contains the Spanish translation of epigraphs that bear information about politics, specifically the Epirote Koinon. This federal state was active in the northwestern part of Greece from 232 and 167, as well as a short period during the first phase of Roman occupation of Greece.
