Dieser Beitrag stellt Anordnungen in der Theatertherapie dar (zu Hauptstromungen d. Theatertherapie s. David R. Johnson und Renee Emunah, Current approaches in drama therapy. Charles C Thomas Publisher, Springfield, 2009) und zeigt eine Moglichkeit der systematischen Rekonstruktion von theatertherapeutischen Prozessen auf. Dazu werden drei Ebenen unterschieden: 1) Das therapeutischen Setting, als ausere Rahmenbedingungen. 2) Die Strukturierung innerhalb der Theatertherapiesitzungen. Hier spielen sowohl das Therapie- als auch das Theaterverstandnis von Therapeut*in und der Spielenden und die damit verbundenen theatralen, kunstlerischen und kunstlerisch-therapeutischen Setzungen eine Rolle (vgl. As Nisha Sajnani shows, drama therapy is an accepted therapy in psychiatric care, yet at the same time evidence of effectiveness is lacking and there is a pressing need to prove it in order to survive in the (competitive field of the) healthcare system. Evidence of effectiveness is commonly pursued in the context of evidence-based medicine (EBM). Studies in drama therapy are responding to this requirement, and there is a growing number of research including mixed method and quantitative study designs. The required methodology cannot, however, be transferred to drama therapy research without adaptation. The challenge for drama therapy research is to simultaneously meet the requirements of EBM and to take the complexity of a drama therapeutic setting into account. As a therapy form that has interdisciplinary roots, drama therapy needs elaborate concepts that provide the parameters on which the evaluation of drama therapeutic processes can be based.
