This article discusses Gordon Matta-Clark's work Splitting (1974) regarding how the cutting operation articulates a constitutive relationship between the interventions on buildings and the diagrammatic instance of planning. This proposition assumes drawing as a convulsive process (Rayck) and architecture as an apparatus which the artist subverts the program (Flusser).

ABSTRACT This article discusses William Anastasi's series known as wall on the wall, first exhibited in 1966. Assuming from the reflections on drawing the idea of a convulsive dynamic in the flow of images, ideas and things, considerations are developed on the relationship of representation, represented and its observer, especially examining the reflex as an operation that makes possible the self reference and metalanguage in the artist's work.

This article deals the Mel Bochner's Measurement Room (1969), in which the artist problematises notational functionality by banding together drawing and architectural object, leading us to a critical discussion about the ways of perceiving space. Questioning certain transparency that allows the naturalization of measurement operation, Bochner discuss a mental space in which the sensible and the intelligible intersects each other. In the discussions on drawing in contemporary art, considering the mutual references between the graphic and the object, this space can be thought here as drawing itself.

Apesar disso, a montagem lhe é fundamental.
