Therefore, design's methodological practices, encompassing various research and experiential facets, play a pivotal role in enhancing the usability and accessibility of digital resources within the social sphere. This study aims to expand the discourse on the characteristics and potential of the interplay between inclusive design and digital humanities practices, with a specific focus on the development of bilingual digital narratives (utilizing Brazilian Sign Language and Portuguese). The research adopts a collaborative, qualitative approach, encompassing processes of evaluation, validation, and enhancement. Digital visual narratives are presented as a facilitating tool for integrating LIBRAS and Portuguese, thereby aiding in language acquisition for deaf children. The article contributes to the discussion of the humanistic approach to design, emphasizing the values of empathy, ethics, and social responsibility in the creation of inclusive and accessible projects.

To contribute to such a premise, this draft was unfolded from an inductive methodology under three variables: the medium, the content, and the space; together they propose a public spectacle, which eventually has the possibility of being executed with the aim of diversifying the cultural offer in the capital, both for locals and for visitors; likewise, add value to the tourism sector. The first variable is the medium, considering the video projector as a performative digital tool that allows interventions in large format; the second, the space, one of the architectural sites with the greatest patrimonial recognition in the city that would fulfill the function of screen and stage; finally, the content, through the audiovisual narrative that highlights sociocultural and traditional aspects.

This platform offers bilingual narratives in Brazilian Sign Language (LIBRAS) and Portuguese, designed for both deaf and hearing children. Beyond addressing an educational gap, the project aims to bolster the cultural and educational identity of the Vale do Café region. The hypothesis posits that interactive virtual worlds, merging entertainment and learning, hold significant potential in catering to the diverse needs of deaf children, thereby fostering their social integration. Inclusive design plays a pivotal role in catering to a heterogeneous audience, particularly those with varying communicative abilities. The diverse range of media employed promises an immersive experience, augmenting content comprehension. Through interdisciplinary collaboration and the application of inclusive methodologies, the transmedia platform is poised to effectively address the unique requirements of deaf and hearing children, directly impacting their cultural, educational development, and societal integration.
