On the other hand, half-bridge inverters are more cost attractive due to reduced component count, but they usually demand the use of symmetrical dc voltage sources. The class DE current-source parallel resonant inverter is a prominent example within the context of half-bridge topologies adequate to induction cookers, while this paper aims at comparing its performance with that regarding a full-bridge inverter. Considering that the inverter dc link voltage may come to vary and consequently affect the load voltage, a technique that allows keeping it constant is then proposed and evaluated i.e. autoregressive model with exogenous input (ARX) based on adaptive linear neural network (ADALINE). Simulation results are presented and thoroughly discussed to demonstrate the performance of the proposed approach.

A combinação destes estágios resulta em uma fonte chaveada em que as tensões de saída são +200V e -200V. A operação dos conversores é analisada e resultados são apresentados para validar a proposta. Palavras-chave: Conversor forward a duas chaves. Fontes chaveadas. Abstract This paper presents a topology of two-switch Forward converter associated with a quadratic Boost converter, which provides large voltage step-up (from 12V to 80V). The combination of the stages results in a switched-mode power supply (SMPS) whose output voltages are +200V and -200V. The operation of both converters is analyzed, as some results concerning the proposed SMPS are presented.
