En este sentido, las redes sociales pueden convertirse en útiles herramientas de aprendizaje que incentiven y potencien el intercambio de información y la construcción de conocimiento de forma colaborativa, así como las destrezas de trabajo en equipo y en red en clave participativa entre los estudiantes. En un momento en el que los datos confirman que el cambio climático es una realidad, investigar l... more En un momento en el que los datos confirman que el cambio climático es una realidad, investigar la comunicación en torno a este fenómeno se hace imprescindible. Más aún, cuando sus consecuencias afectan a la salud, estudiar esta en la comunicación del cambio climático es necesario. Esta investigación busca identificar la importancia de la comunicación en la adaptación al cambio climático y las coberturas de los medios sobre la comunicación del cambio climático y los efectos en la salud. Para ello, se ha utilizado un enfoque cuantitativo y cualitativo, usando una encuesta y un focus group. Entre los resultados, las personas encuestadas aseguran que los medios centran su información en las consecuencias y que los medios no promueven la información de calidad, sino que se convierten en fuente de malas noticias. Mientras, el focus group señala que hay una tendencia en aumento de incluir esta temática dentro del periodismo de soluciones.

Durante la pandemia de la COVID-19 se provocó la paralización de la economía durante muchos meses... more Durante la pandemia de la COVID-19 se provocó la paralización de la economía durante muchos meses y durante el confinamiento, sin embargo, la comunicación era declarada como actividad esencial. Para conocer el posible impacto de esta situación y poder adelantar un escenario futuro de la profesión de periodista se ha realizado un análisis del paro registrado por comunidades autónomas desde 2008 hasta 2020. Los resultados muestran que el desempleo en la profesión ha visto un incremento en 2020 un 25% con respecto al mismo mes del año anterior. Además, si se repite la tendencia de la anterior crisis de desempleo en España desde 2008 a 2013 aún se van a perder numerosos puestos de trabajo de periodistas. Por otra parte, los datos de la Asociación de la Prensa de Madrid entre los años 2008 y 2020 indican que, son las mujeres periodistas las que más desempleo mantienen y en concreto las comunidades autónomas de Madrid, Andalucía y Catalunya. In this sense, the present investigation tries to analyze a twofold: on the one hand, identify the skills of university professors to the digital humanities for social learning and, on the other hand, recognize the good university practices, to identify the most widely used tools, as well as the motivations that lead to success in the collaborative methodologies in Web 2.0. Following this, the research is focused through a qualitative-quantitative methodology with the collection of 537 questionnaires made up of students and the development of a focus groups with a total of 20 teachers belonging to the University of Cadiz, Seville and Huelva. Las universidades andaluzas han tenido que adaptarse a una nueva realidad social caracterizada po... more Las universidades andaluzas han tenido que adaptarse a una nueva realidad social caracterizada por rapidos y continuos avances tecnologicos y para ello han invertido en tecnologias digitales como wifi, pantallas digitales y redes sociales, no solo en la docencia en las aulas sino tambien en la administracion y gestion de otras actividades docentes e investigadoras relacionadas. Por su parte, los alumnos que acuden a sus aulas poseen potentes tecnologias a traves del smartphone con acceso a informacion practicamente ilimitada, si bien diversos especialistas en la materia abogan por la necesidad de dotarles de competencias digitales en las aulas. En este estudio se identifican, por un lado, algunas buenas practicas en el uso de redes sociales en las universidades andaluzas, y por otro, las competencias digitales que se requieren de los estudiantes para desarrollarse como profesionales y ciudadanos criticos en el siglo XXI.

La Comunicación de la mitigación y la adaptación al cambio climático, 2018
La civilización actual se encuentra ante el gran reto de los próximos años, el cambio climático, ... more La civilización actual se encuentra ante el gran reto de los próximos años, el cambio climático, para ello es necesario una transición ecológica que permita alcanzar los objetivos del desarrollo hacia una sociedad sostenible, justa e igualitaria. La transición ecológica pasa, necesariamente, por una transición energética que, desde las energías renovables, permita una participación efectiva y democrática de la energía. Esta transición requiere la participación de todos los sectores de la sociedad y es necesario poner el acento en la igualdad, para ello se ha de incorporar la perspectiva de género en cualquier acción que pretenda alcanzar a toda la sociedad. En esta transición socioecológica el papel de la educomunicación ambiental que permita, desde las buenas prácticas tecnológicas, educar para el cambio de actitudes, valores y compartamientos situando a la vida en el centro de la toma de decisiones.

Resumen: Con este estudio abordamos la docencia en materias impartidas por el profesorado de la U... more Resumen: Con este estudio abordamos la docencia en materias impartidas por el profesorado de la Universidad de Huelva que utiliza la plataforma Moodle como entorno virtual de aprendizaje. El principal objetivo es conocer y analizar las percepciones del profesorado universitario sobre las competencias para el uso de Moodle en su docencia. Para ello se ha encuestado a una muestra de 10 profesores de la Universidad de Huelva. A partir de los datos obtenidos, se destacan una serie de aspectos esenciales a tener en cuenta a la hora de llevar a cabo una experiencia virtual de aprendizaje.

La transición ecológica pasa, necesariamente, por una transición energética que, desde las energías renovables, permita una participación efectiva y democrática de la energía. Esta transición requiere la participación de todos los sectores de la sociedad y es necesario
poner el acento en la igualdad, para ello se ha de incorporar la perspectiva de género en cualquier acción que pretenda alcanzar a toda la sociedad.
En esta transición socioecológica el papel de la educomunicación ambiental que permita, desde las buenas prácticas tecnológicas, educar para el cambio de actitudes, valores y compartamientos situando a la vida en el centro de la toma de decisiones.
