Living in a modernisation era where everyone believes that technology is a good and convenient way to get information that they
want to know or seek, this content creation is being made as one of the ways to spread basic information about skincare to the targeted audience through new media content. Viewers can watch and share videos that transmit information using the content creation approach if they believe the content is highly useful and valuable to others. The particular methods of researching, filming, editing, releasing, disseminating the content, and finishing the product's end were required when creating ‘Skin Care with Fisha’ content. Thus, the content creation that has been developed intends to produce available new media material on a new media platform by
generating new media content and utilising communication and editing skills.

Such errors can impede effective communication and have negative implications in academic and professional settings. This study adopted Typology of Translation Errors; the translation error analysis framework proposed by Liao (2010) in order to evaluate the translation accuracy of students. The data collected from written documents (students' translation assignments) was analysed, and errors were classified into three categories based on the proposed model: rendition errors, language errors, and other errors. These mistakes were analysed in order to draw conclusions. Students made errors in all three disciplines, as indicated by the results. This analysis enables students to recognise and correct their errors, resulting in a deeper understanding of the target language and improved translation skills overall. In addition, it offers insightful pedagogical implications.

As movement restrictions were executed universally due to Covid-19 pandemic, both learners and instructors around the globe were compelled to fully embrace and be part of this online community. Hence, this paper aims to look into the experiences of a group of language programme learners with regards to their cognitive presence-course contents and assessments while engaging in online learning. This qualitative study employed thematic analysis (TA) in coding the data derived from 256 responses from a total of 320 respondents of an open-ended questionnaire. From the TA, five dimensions were identified to correspond with the themes developed for course contents and four for assessments respectively. The findings are imperative in assisting instructors, curriculum developers and designers in devising as well as reviewing an online learning curriculum to improve the existing curriculum and practices of the language programme.

between the graduates and the requirements of the industry. Therefore, this paper attempts to look into the
language industry’s perception towards the curriculum design of a language program offered in
University Teknologi MARA. It aims to determine if the design fulfils the requirements of the industry by
getting the answers to two learning constructs, which are knowledge and skills. The responses gathered
from 13 language industry key-players from a focus group interview were qualitatively analysed and
described. The responses were also supported by their verbal comments on the student final project
presentation and the written responses on an open-ended survey. The findings reveal that the design
fulfils the needs of the industry in terms of skills and knowledge but lacks details. Therefore, a review of
the curriculum was suggested to strengthen communication skills, computer-based skills, presentation
skills, writing mechanics, research skills, intellectual property rights, sales and marketing skills, and
personal and interpersonal skills. In addition, they also suggested adding new topics into the Translation
course and Publishing course in relation to some of the skills required. Only one new course to be
introduced in the structure, that is a third language course

Amid Covid-19 pandemic, students and instructors alike are forced to be part of this community of which their experiences with 'social presence' are crucial to inform curriculum designers the efficacy of online learning curriculum, Thus, this paper aims to look into the online learning experiences among a group of students of a language programme particularly on their social involvement: instructor's delivery and peer interaction. A six-stage thematic analysis (TA) (Braun & Clark, 2006) was used to code the data from 256 respondents of an open-ended questionnaire. A total of 11 recurring themes were found for instructors' delivery: platform, material, delivery technique, interaction, support, feedback, live session duration, availability, instructors' characteristics, mode suitability and materials accessibility. However only six themes were coded for peer interaction: activities, support, mode suitability, platform, cooperation, and the Internet connectivity. These themes correspond with seven of the nine dimensions of online learning design proposed by Means, Bakia and Murphy (2014) which are modality, pacing, instructor role online, student role online, online communication synchrony, pedagogy, and source of feedback. In conclusion, TA is useful in informing curriculum designers and instructors to improve the existing online learning curriculum and practices while the students can benefit to become better learners in online learning.

Conventional teaching and learning of the English grammar have found to be an arduous task for teachers and a lacklustre one for students. The traditional pen and paper method often cause second language (L2) learners to become unmotivated in understanding this important element of the language. Thus, it is critical to provide L2 learners with the motivation to engage learning grammar in a more meaningful and purposive process. An ideal way to provide such learning experiences is through the use of language games that accommodate L2 learners' desire to grasp grammar rules in an enjoyable way. To fill the gap for a purposive and meaningful grammar-based language game, Worchitect, a card-based game that focuses on (English) parts of speech is developed. The card game poses players/learners with questions that will foster their

It can be boring and demotivating to students, while grueling to English language teachers. For second language users, it is important to them to learn and acquire the language grammar through meaningful and purposive process. Unfortunately, traditional pen and paper method usually deter second language (L2) learners to motivationally understand this important element of the language. One way to provide meaningful and purposive learning experience is by using language games. Thus, #SLIPPAWORD: A Parts of Speech Game, a grammar game that focuses on parts of speech is developed to overcome this problem. By using cards, learners will have to understand the rules of grammar in order for them to answer the questions correctly. This game is beneficial to L2 users as it allows for the English parts of speech rule to be deductively attained by those that play this game. Although this game was developed especially for English language teachers and learners, its possible application could be widespread due to its adaptable and sustainable characteristics.

This paper reports on a study developed to help students in tertiary level to enhance their presentation skills in English language. The students are exposed to various printed and digital materials such as newspaper, magazines, blogs, online articles et cetera. Students are then to convey their understanding using the storyboarding format to overcome barriers that might exist where English is not their primary language spoken. By engaging students to make their own storyboards, classroom teaching may be proven useful in fostering students’ presentation skills and also bring a positive impact on the students with limited language proficiency. Classroom observation was used to show the effectiveness of the storyboarding technique. Students were able to associate various learning strategies to their presentation skills. Students are able to present fluently and confidently in the target language in this case English. At the same time, this technique is able to capture the attention and understanding of the audience. Thus, this technique has become increasingly prevalent to be used in various disciplines across faculties.

Methods of teaching grammar in an ESL context are highly debatable. Having formal lesson or solely focusing on grammatically correct production are among the conundrums that language educators have to face. According to Wright, Batteridge and Buckby (1984), L2 learners must have a purpose or meaning to learn a language, only then the process of language learning will be significant to them. However, using the traditional paper and pen practice usually hinders the learners to motivationally understand this important element of English language. Thus, language game is imperative as it allows the students to practice or utilize the knowledge that they acquired in a non-traditional and interesting way (Uberman, 1998). Hence, this action research paper reports on the effectiveness of input enhancement in teaching grammar among ESL learners. The study aimed to identify students’ awareness on parts of speech and to determine the effectiveness of using #SLIPPAWORD: A Parts of Speech Game in assisting input enhancement. Pre-test and post-test methods were used to interpret the data and the main findings are reported with recommendations.
