To learn more about the internal layout of Inuit communal sod houses in Labrador and the anthropic impact of their occupation on the sedimentary matrix, a combination of
micromorphological and geochemical analyses was used to study three communal houses located at the archaeological sites Oakes Bay-1 and Uivak Point 1. Several anthropic indicators associated with Inuit occupation of these houses were identified. In particular, the presence of burnt bones and organic matter and the enrichment of the soil in sodium, organic phosphorus,and barium suggest a concentration of faunal and organic debris that could have been due to cooking activities. Scattering of several anthropic indicators throughout the houses may also have been due to cleaning events or natural and post-depositional processes. This tendency toward scattering made it impossible to identify specific activity areas in the communal sod houses under study, with the exception of House 1 of Oakes Bay-1. Nevertheless, despite being seasonal and sporadic, Inuit occupation of Oakes Bay-1 and Uivak Point 1 definitely impacted the sediment matrix of both archaeological sites.

Des tudes antrieures ont montr que cette situation agit comme dterminant de la sant et entraîne un tat de sant et un accès diffrentiel aux services. L'objectif de cette communication est de comparer la minorit à la majorit linguistique en termes d'accès aux professionnels de sant capable de desservir en langue minoritaire. Nous avons utilis le recensement de 2006 pour crer la base de donnes des professionnels, stratifie par sexe, âge, capacit linguistique et la base de la population francophone et anglophone minoritaire. The ILO passed a domestic workers treaty in 2011, currently ratified by 22 countries.ILO-C189, known as the Domestic Workers Treaty, recognises the protectionand rights of workers and the guarantees human rights to domestic workers (DW). There is many DWs in Asia, especially in Vietnam; there are also many DWs in urban areas and migrant DWs in Taiwan and other countries. Our field survey in 2015 found that the new labor law in 2012 recognised DWs as workers, and the Vietnamese Government will consider ratifying of the ILO-C189 as part of a five-year plan. Vietnam Women's Union has undertaken the training of DWs. of Labour-Invalids and Social Affairs recognised problems specific to DWs such as abuse, violence, and contract issues, no official view has been taken. The of Overseas Labour acknowledges the abuse of overseas DWs and the need to stop the flow of Vietnamese DWs into Taiwan. Although DWs are forced to work for household cash income, they aren’t familiar with the new labor law. This field research shows the divergence of law, the actual situation, and government policies.

Survey on “disappearance” technical intern trainees is recently much talked about. (*Editor’s note) Meanwhile, the fact that the technical intern trainees are leaving/runaway from the companies – can we dismiss this solely with the word “ disappearance”? Since 2014, both in Vietnam and in Japan, I have interviewed Vietnamese who have worked abroad as migrant workers (technical intern trainees and domestic workers, etc.). In this process, I have felt uncomfortable to dismiss the act of technical intern trainees leaving/fleeing from companies as “disappearance” and the subject of these acts as “disappearance”. In this article, I would like to consider the act of technical interns “fleeing” from companies that have accepted them as trainees. First, I will look into the motives and background of the technical interns fleeing/leaving these companies.
